Great Grips
I purchased the rubber grips this time because they are for my conceal carry, and I love them. They fit the gun perfectly, attach strongly, and most importantly are super comfortable in your hand. I will never own a handgun without these grips on them.Side note - I have also purchased the granulated grips before and love those to. The only thing I would warn, is that they are sand paper rough. This is fine for callused hands but might be a little aggressive to smoother hands. Also I would not recommend granulated for conceal carry, way to rough on your hip.

Also I trimmed the fine points back figuring I would get peeling there
Fits prefect on 40C. I made sure to heat 5xs before carrying my Smith. I use an IWB galco which leaves the top half of the 40c against an undershirt. Its been a few months and I have yet to see any movement on the grip, and I have been carrying in many different environments (everyday, driving, shopping, hiking, etc.) These grips are legit. they stand up to it all. Make sure you follow the instructions and heat as advised. Also I trimmed the fine points back figuring I would get peeling there. I trimmed to a curve and heated them independently.

Rough but very positive grip.
Overall, I like it. If I could do it over. I would choose the rubberized texture. This granulated (sandpaper), is pretty rough and will scratch most surfaces that it is on. However, the granulated texture offers a super positive grip. No sweat, blood, water, etc will hinder your grip. The grip tape comes as one piece and is only designed to fit the SMALL back strap. I use the medium backstrap, so I cut the back strap portion of the tape off and applied it independently. It works great. Just make sure you use a few alcohol wipes you remove the oils and dirt from your hand. Also, allow the grip to dry thoroughly before applying the tape.

Update: Does NOT stick to M&P palm swells
UPDATE: NO good for M&P’s. It sticks really well to flat, smooth surfaces. But, if you have an M&P, your pistol palm swell (the back part where it’s supposed to be texturized and grippy) it does NOT stick to it. Went shooting to try my Talon grip and I don’t think I even finished a magazine before it start slipping and ripping off the backside. (Note: I applied everything as instructed by packaging). While it stuck real good to the smooth parts of my pistol, it came right off any texturized parts (see pics).Talons just aren’t made for guns with a textured back-strap/palm swell like the M&Ps. If you have an M&P, do NOT get this. :/ORIGINAL REVIEW:Granulate Pros:- Amazing grip (wet, dirty, or sweaty hands will stay gripped)- easy to apply- nicely fitted for your gun (assuming you follow instructions)Cons:- grabs onto shirt WAY too much- makes tearing sound against shirt as the sandpaper grabs hold of it- scratches up surfaces you rest your firearm on (e.g. kitchen table)- could scratch up your skin, especially if carrying appendix (btw, I personally don’t have this problem as I wear an undergarment when carrying appendix).Solution to overly aggressive grip:You CAN soften the grip a bit by grabbing something metal (like and Allen wrench) and lightly brushing the grip with it until your desired grip. I eventually did this and it worked nicely.

Pure awesome! But READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!!!
As stated in the tile. You MUST clean the grip AND employ a hair drier or heat gun. This will make all the difference in the world.

Fantastic addition for grip control
The way to go to secure your grip on a first gen m&p without stippling. I love the sandpaper, but I have work hardened hands. So they may not work for everyone. Sticks like glue without a death grip and did help improve groups a tiny bit because with these grips I am able to grip my pistol and have control without squeezing it like I'm trying to take the lid off a pickle jar

Fits great but doesn't feel great
As usual, Talon makes a great fitting grip. It adds almost no bulk to the grip and is very straightforward to install. However, while it is better than the bare texture of the M&P Compact, it's still doesn't provide a great grip. The slightest bit of sweat means you're going get a bit of slip and Tennessee summers bring a lot of sweat. I really wish Talon had something between the rubberized and granulate grips. For now though I think I'll just switch to granulate.

Works like a champ
Easy application, stays applied after and promotes a very positive purchase on the handgun. Talon had never let me down on this regard. I've had their product on a Shield and Walther Creed. Both stayed even through a couple of years of use and trips to the range.
