There is nothing to dislike,packaging is very nice. Quality of the item is spot on. It's beautiful in garden. It works perfectly, no problems, able to control water spout. The sound of the water in the bowl is calming.

While this is a bit pricey for what it is especially for the 7 inch version, it was exactly what I wanted. I’d been on the search for a desktop fountain for my home office is add some peacefulness to my work space and all that kept popping up that wasn’t hundreds of dollars was the cheap and cheesey plastic homedics type fountains. I saw this and immediately knew what I wanted to do. It was the perfect starting point to create a desktop water garden/fountain. All I needed was a serving bowl from Target, gemstones I found at my local thrift shop, bamboo and anubias nana from the aquatics store, and I added the sandstone fisherman I found on Amazon to round it out. Put a 5000 kelvin 40 watt equivalent medium base led appliance bulb in my desk lamp for light for the plants. All it took was some creativity and now I have a beautiful and unique fountain!

I was a little disappointed in this because it was much smaller than I envisioned. It was not relaxing either! Maybe the pot that I had planned to put it in was too big, but the water came out very loud! Not a soft serene trickling sound. It was easy to assemble but the other thing that disappointed me was that it has to be plugged in. I guess I did not thoroughly read the product description, but I thought it would be something to put outside in the garden. I’m not really sure how durable it will be. I did return it.

This is perfect for an inexpensive water feature, but it should come pre-treated with a non-toxic, food-safe wood sealant. I used a bamboo butcher block food-safe mineral oil + wax treatment, but it wasn’t enough to prevent mold/mildew when the fountain has water constantly pulsing through it. Next I will look for a food-safe water-proof sealant. The motor does make a sound, but it doesn’t overwhelm the lovely sound of the water moving. Sounds similar to a babbling brook.

Works as advertised. I love it and am glad with the purchase. A nice addition to my desk and peaceful space.

I used this to make a water feature for our back deck. It not only looks beautiful but you can hear the water splashing and it really adds to the atmosphere out there. I put it on a flower pot like they show in the picture, plugged it in, and nothing happened. So I primed it just like you'd do if you were siphoning gas. I had to do it a couple of times. But it has faithfully worked ever since. And it really adds something to our deck.

I used to make fountains from scratch, and so this was not a new process. Took it out of the packaging, attached the hose to the pump, placed the bamboo on the rim of the container to measure the hose length, cut it, attached that end, put rocks and a "lucky bamboo" plant and water in the container and it was ready to go! Maybe 7 minutes. And it is a beauty! I can't hear the pump running, the flow is excellent (I boosted it a very tiny bit during setup), and it can be as silent or burbling as you want, depending on how you arrange anything that might be in your container. And when it comes time to clean it (and ALL fountains like this need periodic cleaning), it will be so simple (my last one was a nightmare to clean). I'm so glad I got this one.

Because the motor works well and the appearance is very nice, I didn't want to return the fountain for the crack that opened up the full length of the spout after only one week of use. I will add that the same thing happened to the larger model that I bought at the same time. Materials inside the packaging said to contact the maker rather than return it to Amazon and they would make it right. I have now contacted them twice with no result whatsoever. So my low rating has more to do with failed customer service than the product itself.
