The Collapse of Ancient States and Civilizations

I had this for a topics class in college. The book had great articles, written by many scholars. However, there was no common bond pulling the book together. No overall theme, and each article was painstakingly hard to comprehend. Works better when supplemented with knowledge of the collapse event before reading the article. In that it fails as a stand alone book. Maybe it could have had an overview of the chapter topic or civilization, before outlining specific theory.

this copy is small print, difficult to read. I returned the book and am still waiting to hear back from amazon.com to return my money or just give me some credit.also your suggestions are not very clear to follow (i.e. tag this product) what does it mean and how to do it?I tried calling you for customer help, no such thing, tried to email, it didn't work.Have you got too many customers to care???Agnes Denes
