Auto Retractable Roller Sun Shade for Car Window - Block Glare and Heat, 2Pcs

First off, these shades work very well to keep the sun out of the face of my son while he's in his car seat.Second, they work very well whether they roll upward or downward. Because my truck's rear window is already somewhat short, it made more sense to mount this shade at the bottom of the window and then draw it upward than it did the traditional way. The provided suction cup keeps the window shade pulled up just as well as it does down.The only small criticism that I have is with the rod that supports the hook end of the shade. It's somewhat weak and bends easily when little hands get hold of it. I'm sure it will break eventually, but for now it seems to be holding up.

These work very well blocking the sun, and the suction cups stay firmly in place. The one small issue is that the spring that retracts the shade when the button is pushed, is significantly stronger than it needs to be. Thus, it will randomly retract so strongly that the shade gets stuck in the housing. You have to pull the tab quite hard to free it up. Don't know if it will affect long term functionality of the product. Also, when attaching the the car window, move the suction cups to the very end on each side. Otherwise, when the retract button is pushed the complete unit will slide until it reaches the end.

Easy to assemble. It blocks the suns rays well. It is made very well and easy to remove if needed. It grips to the window well.

Ni bueno ni malo

I bought this product in order to keep the sun out of my rear-facing toddler's eyes in the back seat. First of all, I should have looked more carefully at the product design before purchasing because I was disappointed to find out that the way this screen fastens to the window at the bottom, when pulled down, is by velcro-ing to a little sticky square that is placed on the window. Unfortunately, the design is such that the velcro is stronger than the sticky substance adhering the square backing to the window... and so when the tab is pulled to pull apart the velcro and retract the screen, the entire sticky square pulls off. I don't know if this is just because I live in a hot climate in Texas or if other people have that problem too. Secondly, even if suctioned to the very top of the window, the suction cups still cause a gap between the top of the screen and the top of the window. So even when the product was pulled down, there was no way to keep the sun from shining in his eyes over the TOP of the screen, if the sun was at the right angle. Finally, after using this product for a month and a half now, the suction cups began to fail to work. And now even if I moisten the suction cups a bit, they fail to stay on the window entirely. The product is now so entirely useless that I am using a towel instead.

Bought this specifically for toddler car naps driving in the car! Unfortunately, it is so hot most days that the Velcro sticker melted off, so we just pull it down and it dangles but it suits it's purpose.

This is by far the best window shade I have purchased and is easy to use. It comes with 3 suction cups for each shade. 2 at the top and one for the bottom. You have to lift up the suction cup grip on top for it to slot in securely.
