La Sportiva Men's Omega GTX Hiking Boot

Always very quality materials and construction. La Sportiva always makes boots that fit like a glove.But, I've been holding back from giving this boot a down graded review, since all other La Sportivas I've owned were 5 stars.Inman arborist by trade and I work in Colorado.Anyhow, I've always ordered size 43 euro without any issues. These seem to be wrong in many ways; the tongue rubbs wrong, the arch is painfully high and out of place. The overall fit causes pain in the balls of the feet within minutes of wear. I thought a break in period would "do the trick". Nope.I realize my anatomy may be different to most, but so does a mass shoe maker, right? They make shoes for the masses. So, I would think this boot should satisfy most people; myself included.I dont know why this boot was so bad to all my other experiences with La Sportiva. Could be a fluke... Makes me want to switch brands the next time.

WOuld be 5 star if I could find a size that fits. I gathered these boots run narrow and that was my experience. I could not find a size that fits me :(BUT the craftsmanship is top notch! These appear to be boots that will last quite a long time and easily worth the price.Be prepared to try a couple sizes and expect narrow fit.

La Sportiva makes awesome footwear. These boots are my first foray for those not made in China. These are made in Italy. And the construction and quality are top notch. I am still breaking them in, but they are already pretty wearable after just 5 days. I have owned dozens of boots, and these appear to be my favorite thus far. The sizing is consistent with the other La Sportiva shoes I have owned so no need to find a brick and mortar if you have identified your size.

Great hiking boots. Comfortable out of the box. Not intended for mountaineering- too flexible in forefoot for much crampon use. Sole is great in terms of friction. I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel, and order a size larger than other shoes. One reviewer talked about poor quality in terms of stitches. Pay no attention. If you don't prophylactically SeamSeal any boot with exposed stitches, you are asking for problems.

Toung pinches ankle on left,light ,but not super comfortable like all the sportiva I have bought in the store

They are very comfortable and best I ever had
