I'm looking to purchase a mountain bike but my concern's are about the weight that this bike can handle. I'm 6'5 and weigh 300 lbs; would this bike be ideal for me ?

At 6' 5", you will want a frame that is 19" or larger. Brad is slightly wrong. A frame is measured from the center of the bottom bracket up the center of the seat tube to the top of the seat tube. Generally, you will want the length between the top of the seat and the pedal at bottom dead center to be three inches less than your inseam. I'm 5' 9", ride a bike that has a 17" frame, and have a 30" inseam. That means. for my bike, my seat is up about six inches and I have a four inch crank arm (kinda long for a mtb honestly.) and I stand over the seat about three inches while riding.
