Elkay ezH2O Liv Built-in Filtered Water Dispenser, Remote Chiller, Aspen White

Absolutely love having this in my pantry. It’s so easy to use and accessible. My family and guests love the chilled freshwater that comes from it. Would definitely buy again! Definitely hook up a drain hose if you’re going to put one in your house, I couldn’t imagine having to empty out the tray from “spillage.”

We ordered this for our custom build and when we went to install we only received two chillers and no bottle filler. It’s now too late to exchange and we’re basically out $2000 and no way of getting it exchanged out.

I saw this on reddit and looked into it and loved it. I was paying $100 a month on spring water and I am very particular about water taste. For me the first challenge was finding someone who could do the installation and Elkay was little to no help. Frankly they were no help through out the whole process. You need a good contactor who knows plumbing, electric, and installation into the wall. Once I figured all of that out I ordered the product. Amazon sent the refrigerator part first without the wall unit. Then they sent the wall unit without the refrigerator part. I did finally get both parts, buyers should be aware to expect two packages. Once I got it here and installed it the taste seemed off at first. I then turned the temp down on the refrigerator portion and it tasted much better. I don't know if I got used to it or what but the taste is solid right now. After that and having it for a few months there were times that the water didn't shut off. I had to hit the power switch and reset it to get the water to stop flowing. Water got all over the place. Not sure why this happens but most of my debugging has not fixed it. It happens rarely but it does happen. With all that being said, when it works it is amazing. Make sure to try and keep the line between the refrigeration unit and the wall unit as short as possible so cold water comes fast. When we have other families over it is great and encourages kids to drink water. I would have/should have installed the drain and not the pan because kids struggle with it a bit and it can be a mess. For the price I would expect perfection. Would I do it again...probably because it is pretty awesome.

This unit is a bear to get installed cleanly. Lots of connections to be made in a very small space. Does look nice once done. The ground screw for the sensor wire is blocked by the drain. Install the wire into th eunit before completing the drain install. The assembler at the factor pinched one of the LED wires with the screw so the left LED was not working. I had to repair the wire, no easy task with it mounted in the wall already.

-poor delivery communication -lost track of half of the packages -product is missing essential installation parts that is negligible at this price point and annoying to have to make trips to seek straight 1/4” coupling connectors, 1/4” mini elbows etc $$ -a mounting bracket is probably needed in most cases. That’s another separate $ -a handyman with a mixed skill set can install. Its plumbing and electrical. -the facade is lovely. -what is not lovely is the big rectangle metal refrigeration unit you’ll need to find a home for. Remote installation seems possible.

Did not receive the shelf for the chiller

I ordered this twice and had a missing chiller box or broken item (glass face was shattered everywhere) twice. Both times seemed like someone else's return or a used item.

Product description says includes chiller but did not
