Can I wear it while I swim?

No you can not swim in it. The water can ruin not only wood but can get into middle of watch. Ruin battery part. Most watches you cannot swim with unless you're buying athletic high-priced ones

How easy is it to remove a link for sizing purposes?

If you have tools small enough for the job, it is pretty easy. Since I don't have any small tools, I took it to a watch maker and they removed the link and had my watch back to me in about 30 seconds.

Mine is a small wrist. What if the size I get is too big?

Watch band length(circle) is 23cm, in order to fit any wrist, the band is designed longer enough, it is adjustable, you can remove the watch band if too big for you. if still have any question can contact us for help. thanks
