SKLZ Bolt Balls for Lightning Bolt Pitching Machine

Please make sure you realize the size of these soft baseballs. They are literally about the size of a golf ball- I did not realize that until after they were shipped. They are still useful and I will keep them but I think it is easy to overlook that they are 1) soft (hard foam) and 2)small (golf ball size).

I love the SKLZ Bolt pitching machine. It functions well indoors in my basement, as well as outdoors when there is mild or no wind. The only problem is you will lose a few balls over time, and this is a great way to get that machine stocked so you can take BP for a much more enjoyable time. These balls are yellow and slightly easier to see than the white ones that came with the pitching machine. Even my 7 year old daughter can make contact using these, making this a really fun dad/daughter activity. I would recommend these to anyone who owns a SKLZ pitching machine, or as something to buy along with an SKLZ pitching machine purchase because it will prevent you from a limited supply of balls as you eventually start to lose/misplace them indoors. Check out the SKLZ pitching machine if you like to take a little BP indoors. I have never broken anything by using these balls inside. They are very soft.

These work great for improving the hand eye coordination of baseball players. My son crushes these with his Jugs Hit Stick into a net in the garage everyday while playing soft toss from the side. After hitting the bucket he moves on to a full size regulation baseball, after getting accustomed to hitting the smaller ball, the large ball is easier for him to track and connect with.You can’t go wrong with the price of the product, it is a much better deal than buying in the 9 pack. Plus, with more balls we spend more time crushing balls than chasing them.

I don’t know if they ran out of material or what happened but it’s pretty unacceptable. We ordered a bucket of 50 balls and literally only 5 where not dudes. Bolt balls my you know what. They literally roll out of the machine. I couldn’t even use them for change ups because they don’t even make it to the plate. The original balls are awesome and make the machine well worth it but stay away from these and believe the bad reviews until they change something.

I purchased this for a Christmas and my son has not been able to use it completely, since there is snow on the ground. He is thrilled with it, but I was a little disappointed int he size of the balls. I thought I was getting regulation size baseballs, but was shocked when the tiny balls came with this unit. My son says that this will work OK, as if he can hit the smaller balls, he will be able to hit the larger baseballs. I like this product, just wish they would have made it clearer the size of the balls.

This soft balls are awesome, we take them everywhere so my kid can be always throwing.We use those in pre-games given the ballpark doesn’t allow the kids to be playing with baseballs out of the field, those keep them entertained and warmed after the batting warm-up without any risky to damage property or injuries.
