I'm borderline diabetic and have been taking Metformin for several years. Adding one of these before each meal has reduced the blood sugar spike after eating and reduced my glucose levels significantly.

Raises insulin levels, in study, but how?
I bought this to use with other supplements to try and extend my non-insulin honeymoon phase of D1.5/LADA. I had read about it as part of the supplements used on preventt1d. Although I have taken them for a few days, I am stopping. The research using this supplement on diabetic rats didn’t just mention lower glucose levels, it mentioned higher insulin levels. If it is increasing insulin levels, is it stimulating the beta cells to produce more insulin or actually increasing the number of functional beta cells? I have few enough beta cells left that I don’t want to stress and possibly harm them. I want to baby them and help them proliferate. Until it is known HOW this supplement increases insulin, I feel it is safer for those with LADA not to take it.

Bad Product
This does not appear to be the same product that i had been using for years. This is the first time i ordered this product from amazon and it did not control my blood pressure at all and i ended up in the hospital with blood pressure reading 221/123. I think that this product is not mfg by ayush products. Yesterday when i did the proct review i did not clarify the problem product as there was two items on the order. The problem product is CARDITONE which is for blood pressure.

GI trigger
Did nothing for me except GI issues. Kept going for three weeks until too painful....Defeats the reasons against the traditional Metformin, which does the same thing.
