OKI42377801 Ribbon Cartridge, Black

This is not a genuine ribbon. The one I received is an Innovera ribbon, not Oki. It doesn't work in our printer at all. Waste of money as I am out of the return window. It never occured to me to check that it was the genuine brand. I learned my lesson.

This is at least the third time that I get a generic when all indications are that it is oki as pictured. It is not and I feel cheated as they do not last long

OEM product works better than any generic brand! Used on an Okidata ML420 dot matrix printer.

I paid more for this ribbon than the ones I usually use because from the description it looked like it would last longer than the ones I usually buy which is about a month. The ribbon printed too light to use after 3 days!!! No unusual or excessive use. I will NOT be buying this ribbon again! SELF INKING?? Does NOT seem to be correct.

I have an Okidata printer and these seem to be the longest lasting ribbons I can find. They don't dry out like the others that I've used so they last longer.

I have used two Okidata dot matrix printer since 1991. First printer lasted over 21 years!. I have noticed that the Original OKI printer ribbons last at least twice as long as any other aftermarket printer ribbon I have tried. They may be a little more expensive, but because they last so long they are a much better value.
