League of Legends: Realms of Runeterra (Official Companion)

Art is great, each of the main regions revealed shows a story, each depicted by different writers and my current favourite is the Zaun and Piltover section 👍. There's definitely more of the world shown than the champions themselves which makes for immersive world building paired with fantastic art. Details of ideologies, technology, economies, culture and architecture of the cities/kingdoms is a central part which is woven with a few narrative stories (however I personally find some of the stories hit or miss... ) But there are some seriously ingenious and creative ideas developed here, so even if you don't play this game I would recommend this book just to feed yourself some high quality fantasy/world building now and again.

I haven't finished to read, but so far so good! All the myths and mysteries of this sensational game are there! It mentions about some champions related to the history of Runeterra and its realms, but don't expect that it's gonna have strategies of game or details about champions and things like that. Maybe just by understanding its history it might help you to play with a bit more of a purpose 😊

Not only do you get a timeline, stories & all the other info etc, but dammnn the artwork is incredible! Every single page has had so much thought put into it, even the little background details on the story pages are 🙏🙏🙏🙏.

Abosloutly love this book. I was never one to read, but this helped me to have a connection to books. Discovering so much more of Runeterra. Amazing for those who love fantasy and the world of league of legends. Learn so much by discovering more of Runeterra. LOVE IT!

A beautiful book with amazing artwork and satisfying stories to tell you more about the world of runterra and give you an insight into its workings.

The book itself is good. It greatly expands on the ever growing lore of the League of Legends universe. Some bits of information were already available on different websites including the official one, however it goes into much greater detail than anything that's available on the internet at the moment. A good piece to have for anyone who likes the game. The packaging and the delivery however were extremely unsatisfying. You can see what I mean on the photos.

Well written easy to digest modern take on the lore of the game. Sadly they've already begun to contradict it but still a worthy purchase to see what could've been.

One of the best Worldbuilding there is good paper and cover quality except the fact it took almost a month to reach otherwise but no scratches all is good

Realms of Runeterra è il primo libro da collezione targato Riot Games, l'opera conta 256 pagine ed è strutturata in un vero e proprio viaggio fra le undici regioni di Runeterra. All'interno di ogni capitolo troviamo tutto ciò che riguarda la storia e la cultura della regione trattata fra cui le cronache dei conflitti e delle alleanze, la flora e la fauna autoctona, l'architettura e le tecnologie sviluppate. Dai racconti si capisce solo indirettamente alcune caratteristiche dei campioni del gioco, l'opera infatti non è rivolta direttamente a loro ma alle regioni da cui provengono. Il libro contiene tantissime illustrazioni ed art-work inediti che grazie alla qualità di stampa veramente superba risultano davvero bellissimi. Anche i dettagli e la rilegatura sono veramente molto curati e l'enciclopedia dà una sensazione di robustezza e solidità che non mi aspettavo. In conclusione non posso fare altro che consigliarlo a tutti coloro che vogliono approfondire la lore del mondo di League of Legends. ATTENZIONE: il libro è completamente in inglese, ma Riot ha specificato che prossimamente rilasceranno ulteriori informazioni sulle traduzioni e ristampe dell'opera (quindi non è da escludere che non verrà mai tradotto).
