I’d look for a different tension rod
I rarely leave bad reviews, but this is a bad product and I was less than impressed. You can see that it’s already coming apart as the springs are exposed. It actually looks like it may have been a return based on all the scratches and the gold that’s already coming off. The packaging it came in was filthy.

Just the perfect size - thank you for your excellent description!
I was looking for just a small, simple curtain rod for my bathroom door curtain and nothing would fit inside the curtain rod sleeve as they had a stupid plastic ring in the middle. This was absolutely the perfect size and they gave all the dimensions correctly so I could buy on line with confidence. Thank you so much as I had to send the last one back.......)
