Isn’t it common sense to buy a life jacket in a color that stands out in the water? This is it! All these products on Amazon I see that are blue…seriously? Anyway this is a real life vest, not a Disney costume with some foam in it. The top grab handle is a must have feature in a life saving device, and the top float that elevates the child’s head should be a govt required feature in every child vest made. This one also has the bottom strap to keep them from slipping down and out, another life saving feature. Color stands out in the water and highlights your child when in a group, especially in nature, like a lake or river.

This is the only style of life jacket that children should be using. Neon for high visibility, head support, and strap to ensure it does not slip off. Always make sure your child is in the appropriate vest for their weight.

really like this vest for my five year-old because it has the strap that goes between their legs that prevents the jacket from slipping off. In a power boat being thrown from the boat lifejackets are known to slip off this won't do that.

This is the best floating vest I ever bought for my child (I bought MANY). It keeps him afloat, he can lean his head back and relax, he does not sink a little like with other styles... I'd buy it again. The color is very easy to spot your child in a crowded pool (bright green)

I spent hours over a period of days looking for the right vest. It was exhausting reading the reviews but this was obviously a very important purchase.My son is 4 (5 in August) with autism. He has been called a giant since the day he was born (literally).Just having finished pre-k, teachers said he was as tall as the 1st graders. He’s almost as tall as our 10 year old.His chest is about 23” and he weighs 69lbs so he doesn’t fit a kids life jacket.It might be a tiny bit loose at its tightest but it’s only for the pool and he’s never left without someone holding onto him so it works fine.I expect it will fit perfectly before end of summer and with room to grow it should fit next summer.The leg strap was a must for us and overall the jacket seems pretty solid.We’re pleased with our purchase.

I bought it for my young great grandson, but it was too big for him so I think next year will be better!
