I use these gas springs to hold up a door on my 13-year-old motorhome that the springs had died on. They fit perfectly and had plenty of pressure to hold the door up. They work perfectly. I really like that Amazon posts the pounds per square inch of the gas in the cylinders!

I recently broke the gas shocks on my ARE cap and was looking for a replacement. I purchased these and couldn't be happier. These were a direct fit and installed in less than 5 minutes. The shocks came with several different ends, which were easy to change. For my application, I switched the ends from angled to straight and it was a perfect fit. I would highly recommend these!

Used these on my ARE truck topper after the original ones began to leak and wouldnt hold the window/hatch open. Great alternative and a great price

They worked perfectly on my 2016 Toyota Tundra truck cap....

These were priced nicely, and I was able to swap them out with the broken ones in around 10 minutes. I got t e 50 PSI version, and it takes a bit of effort to lower the window, could have gotten the less energetic ones, but I’m quite pleased with these.,

Easy to install but doesn’t come with instructions. Best advice to those who have never done this before is do one side at a time. My ARE cap has reversed shock mounting due to a light switch installed. Also, one side I had to swap out a ball socket to lock in place (it kept popping off due to tension) but that is easy to do and they are included.

I returned the first pair because they were slightly too long. The second pair is too powerful. I only installed one because the hatch wouldn't close with both.
