LEGO 75964 Harry Potter Advent Calendar

It's a great calendar that adds little cute pieces to any LEGO collection you might already have. Most items are on the box (which does take away the surprise) but it's a lot of fun to assemble the pieces and there are so many people in it, too (and Prof. McGonagall or Flitwick are not your typical ones!). Of course some things are not super useful but to create a Hogwarts scene, I think even the banners are cute. Overall, I just think this is an advent calendar which brings more fun than a piece of chocolate. And compared to those advent calendars, the price is great! What I love about the LEGO advent calendars in general is that you don't have unhealthy sweets in it that are all individually wrapped in a big plastic box where you end up with more waste than value. I really appreciate that the calendar (and the door pockets) are made out of cardboard, by the way.

This is a wonderful, well thought out set for Lego Harry Potter fans, with six character minifigures included: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Albus Dumbledore, Professor Filius Flitwick, and Professor Minerva McGonagall, there's also mini Christmas trees, a decorated fireplace, and a dining table with accessories (Turkey included). When opened up, one inner side of the box becomes a mini play mat, with festive scenery also in the background, where the daily gift compartments are situated. Sadly, set 75964 has already been retired, so the price will more than likely gradually increase from the original £24.99 as it becomes harder to find. However, the one thing that stood out the most to us with this particular Lego advent calendar, was the possibilities of repeat usage, and when combined with the Great Hall set, they make a lovely festive centrepiece for the children to play with, and if you're lucky enough to have both those Lego Wizarding World releases, you'll be ready for Christmas at Hogwarts every year.

A lovely advent calender for harry potter lovers. Comes with a nice selection of small easy to build models. A great addition to existing lego collections and also makes a cute christmas scene to be used as decoration. This provided a fun little activity each day and was a interesting chocolate alternative. I have stored the models away to display again next year. Unfortunatly, the box did arrive a little beat up, but this did not affect the usability of the product or the enjoyment got from it.

AMAZING!! There is soo much stuff in this Advent Calendar! Plus I saved £10+ by purchasing this from the Amazon warehouse with a "damaged box" and I couldn't be happier! Amazon Customer Service were kind enough to check the item to make sure it was complete before I purchased, wich is soo lovely. It even arrived on time (four days before Christmas) and the day after I purchased it. I purchased this to go with my Harry Potter Great Hall, not as an Advent Calendar to count down the days, so the damage to the box was not a problem. Some figures had moved around but I did not find that a problem. Amazing value and will definitely be purchasing another next year with no hesitation! Definitely made the Great Hall set more festive! Even if I have to purchase at full price 😉😉

My daughter loves this as she is in to Lego and Harry Potter. Better than yet more chocolate around the festive season. Can't honestly say it's value for money as Lego seems to be quiet expensive for what it is these days.

This has been by far the best advent calendar I ever received even as an adult. All the windows were a joy to open and put together and I feel there were no duds. The cardboard picture which flops open on the back of the box is a great idea and I loved arranging all the bits and figures on it to create a Christmas scene. I few more figures would have been lovely but I'm very happy with it and am keeping it for years to come

This Lego Harry Potter Advent Calendar is great as a present or for yourself if you love Harry Potter! I really enjoyed this calendar this year and I hope there will be more different Lego Harry Potter Calendars in the future. It is very good for the price and you get a good collection. However I seem to of got a few extra parts to certain builds on certain days of this calendar which I can't use as I have a complete collection. I am still very happy with this calendar.

Ich möchte garnicht lange über den Inhalt reden, Der ist liebevoll gestaltet und findet im weihnachtlichen hogwarts statt, wo harry und Ron ihre ugly christmas Pullis von Molly weasly bekommen, natürlich darf hermine nicht fehlen. Unsere drei Helden, kommen mit Professoren daher und allerlei Accessoire für ein schönes Weihnachtsfest... Ich möchte an der Stelle LEGO loben, statt der bisher immer aus Plastik bestehenden einsatzkästen, wurde auf umweltfreundliche und recylebare papiereinsätze umgeschwenkt. Der Kalender ist herrlich datiert und gestaltet, passend zum Thema. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer und zauberhafter weihnachstkalender für große und kleine Fans vom zauberschüler.

Una delle novità più piacevoli introdotte nella serie LEGO Harry Potter quest'anno è sicuramente il calendario dell'avvento, che ho deciso di acquistare alla prima occasione utile. Ovviamente il calendario verrà aperto, e le sorprese montate, soltanto dal primo di dicembre, nonostante lo abbia preso nei primi giorni di settembre, ma con l'espediente di aprire un lato della confezione per controllare che i contenuti siano a posto ho potuto sbirciare ciò che contiene. Partiamo dalle minifigure, quasi tutte esclusive eccetto Silente, già comparso nel set 75954. La McGonagall è già apparsa nel set sopra citato, e risulta quasi identica a quella versione, ma in questo set è dotata di una nuova testa, quindi questo la rende differente dalla sua precedente incarnazione, seppur mantenga gli stessi abiti e cappello. Un altro professore contenuto all'interno del calendario è il minuto Flitwick, che era già apparso nelle serie di minifigures dello scorso anno, anche se in vesti diverse visto che in questa versione, oltre al vestiario differente, include una doppia espressione del volto rispetto alla singola dell'anno scorso. L'unica pecca, a mio avviso, è quella di aver realizzato la versione cinematografica "ringiovanita" che compare a partire dal terzo film, rispetto a quella più simile alla cartacea dei primi due film che sarebbe stata più in linea con le altre minifig presenti nel set. Arriviamo poi al trio protagonista, che comprende Hermione con una inedita versione dell'uniforme di Hogwarts su gambe corte (a differenza delle gambe medie della serie collezionabile). Il torso a prima vista sembrava quello di Dean Thomas della serie già citata, ma ad attenta analisi è completamente nuovo. Harry e Ron invece sono raffigurati con indosso i "Maglioni alla Weasley", molto ben realizzati. Personalmente la vista delle iniziali mi ha fatto tornare in mente il primo libro, in cui le iniziali le hanno solo Fred e George, o come dicono loro, Gred e Forge. Penso che Gred e Forge potrebbero essere due personaggi da tenere a mente per il prossimo calendario. Le altre sorprese del set permettono di ricreare festoni delle case, pacchi regalo, tavoli della sala grande su cui aggiungere le varie cibarie che si troveranno in altre caselle, alberi di natale, un pupazzo di neve , la statua dell'Architetto di Hogwarts, un modellino del treno Hogwarts Express, la scacchiera tanto cara a Ron, un baule con Edvige e vari effetti personali, ed infine un camino acceso decorato con una ghirlanda. Per finire, l'interno del calendario dell'avvento riporta la Sala Grande e una vista notturna di Hogwarts sotto la neve, che personalmente trovo veramente belle come illustrazioni! Consiglio questo calendario ai collezionisti della serie, agli amanti di libri e/o film e ai genitori che vogliono regalare un buon calendario dell'avvento ai loro figli, per poter scandire al meglio il conto alla rovescia fino al giorno di Natale.
