Sturdy and a great value
I found these to be the perfect mounts for a couple of Polk Audio bookshelf speakers I repurposed for surround speakers. I haven't weighed the PAs, but I'd guess they are 6-7 lbs. and although plastic these held them in position easily. The kit requires you screw half of each mount into the back of each speaker - small wood screws included. The other half has two small hanger mounts for the wall. Very easy to align and install. The kit includes plastic toggle mollies for drywall, but you may want to upgrade based on your preference.Once the wall mounts are installed use the large hand screws to attach the other adjustable mount to the speaker mount at the desired angle, then seat to the wall mounts and pivot to the back-to-front angle you want. The only limitation is the angle you can swivel based on the size of your speakers, unless you offset where you attach the mount to your speakers. To sum it up: small, sturdy and easy to install.

Excellent but screws could be better
This sucker works well. Very nice to be able to adjust the speaker left/right up/down though one of those ball mounts would be better in the event of a mis-mount, but it's not too hard to get right. My only complaint is that the screws are very easily stripped, the ones that go into your speaker, not the wall. Beware, possibly just buy quality screws at the store to replace them. Hate for people to skip out on a sound mount because of some cheap screws. But they really need to include better screws and jack the price up a couple dollars to compensate, although I question if the materials used for this mount is worth just 5 bucks at most. My only fear is that in the future these mounts might break at the bolt and nut point due to gravity. Great choice regardless for speakers without mount holes, but I might go with Pinpoint AM-40B next time I need a universal mount, which I would have gotten had the price been 55ish like they are now rather than the 68 they were when I bought these. I do blame Infinity for even needing these as their top bookshelf speaker does not have mounting holes while the lesser models in their family lineup does. So I hate "ruining" mine with this mount by screwing into them, but eh they were 85 bucks each. Well worth it imho but it's just 85 bucks. If/when I buy far more expensive speakers I would not be drilling into them~Overall these work well with Infinitys. Very tight and secure connection, but it's doubtful you'll ever be able to take them off as the screws get stripped. Probably better to drill holes first then use a hand held screw driver to finish the job rather than a power drill. Be careful about it, get someone else to do it if you need, and these mounts will get the job done nicely.UPDATE: Just thought I'd give an update. It's been a year and 3 months or so since I first hung up my two speakers with these wall mounts and things are just peachy. The mounts have yet to give in to the weight of the speakers so these mounts are definitely worth their price tag. If you can live with drilling holes into your speakers fear not, these mounts while cheap are anything but a waste of money. I forgot what my speakers weigh but it's in the neighborhood of 15 to 18 pounds, FYI. With that said, I won't be giving these mounts another go round while I'm here on amazon searching for wall mounts for my other two surround speakers. I will go for a mount that won't require me to drill or screw into my speakers... as long as the price is reasonable. If not then I will go for these again but use better screws and pre drill holes...

Defiantly not good for 20 lb speakers!!
You get what you pay for!! I should have known that $20.00 for speaker hangers was too good to be true. The specs on these mount say that they are good for speakers that weigh up to 20 lb. They are defiantly not good for 20 lb speakers!! I tried to use them on a pair of JBL L-820s that according to JBL weigh 19 lbs. The speakers are worth $325.00 each and there is no way that I would trust that much speaker to these wall mounts. They were wobbly at best and even though I took great care to make sure that they were mounted straight up and down, the speakers lean (rotated / twisted) to one side. After only a short time of playing the speakers, the thumb screws started to loosen up and the speakers began to lean forward until they reached the max adjustment. I wouldn't trust them to anything over 10 lbs. and only a cheap little speaker. Two for each speaker would seem to make more sense.

doesn't fit klipsch rb41
So much for a universal wall mount... I also noticed it's cheap material. So even though I ended up not using it I don't know if I would be happy with this anyway. I'm returning it.

Fantastic wall mounts
I needed to mount my Onkyo speakers to the wall and didn't want to go the shelf route that I used in our previous house. I found these little guys and was intrigued by their simple design and functionality, so I ordered enough for my 6 surround speakers. The package includes two wall mounts with everything you need to mount them to the wall. They are easy to assemble so don't be discouraged by the amount of screws and pieces that you see in the box.The wall mounts are sturdy enough to hold my fairly large speakers and the swivel and tilt functions are only hindered by the size of the speakers. In any case, the speaker setup is now exactly as I hoped for and I couldn't be happier. Great price for a great product.
