I can’t even put into words how obsessed I am with this product. I’ve been dealing with Perioral dermatitis since the last wearing days with COVID. My skin was also becoming so dark and dull and gross. I was desperately trying to find anything to help my skin and I discovered the ordinary hyaluronic and niacinamide combo and I swear to you I NEVER think to do these before and after photos, especially long term, but I wanted to see the difference for myself. The first set of pictures where I’m wearing the light blue hoodie and dark blue hoodie is the before and after of when I first started these serums in my daily routine. Every morning and night. It helped EVERYTHING. The redness, my pores, my acne, the dullness in my skin. Everything. And I have sensitive skin! Pictures are taken at the same time of day in front of the same window for lighting consistency. The second set of pictures is the before and after of what happened when I stopped using the product consistently. My skin brightness didn’t fade right away but the redness and dermatitis definitely started to come back. So I reintroduced the product back and that’s where we get to the after picture. It will not permanently get rid of your issues. And everyone’s skin is different, but for me I will never not have this be part of my daily routine. Even when I don’t do my full daily skin care routine I always at the very least use the niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. My full routine is - cleanse with pure Castile soap - Spray with Thayers witch hazel toner - apply the ordinary hyaluronic serum - apply the ordinary niacinamide serum - then face lotion of choice with spf during the day (I use La roche posay) and regular face lotion at night (I use cetaphil) - in the evening I sometimes finish it all off with a drop of the ordinary rose hip oil. When I’m not doing my full routine it is just the two serums and face lotion. My skin is left feeling so hydrated, refreshed and really it is so affordable for what it does. Each bottle lasts me about a month, longer if I get the larger bottles

The hyaluronic acid and niacinamide serums have been a staple in my skincare for years, making my skin feel hydrated and my pores invisible. Lately I was just procrastinating on getting them and during that time, I was having really flaky skin on my nose and eyebrows that just would not go away no matter how much moisturizer I used. I just used these two serums and it removed it immediately. My skin is back to glowing. Now the Vitamin C stuff......I don't know who decided to make it grainy but their resume needs to be reevaluated lol. I didn't even attempt to put it in my face because I knew I was not going to be able to deal with the texture on my face but I just tried it on the back of my hand and that was enough for me. It looks creamy but it has a slight grainy texture to it when you rub it in, making your skin feel dirty. MIND YOU, you're not supposed to wash this off, you leave it on your skin........right. Unless I'm reading it wrong or missing something, lmk cause I would love to use this product and try it. Other than that, great purchase!

My 21-year-old daughter wanted to try this facial acne treatment. She has had good results in just three weeks of use. I started using this set with her, and we noticed two things. It can dry out your skin, and The vitamin C cream should be used last (or every other day) after the other products have dried completely. I notice a burning sensation when using the vitamin c cream, so I use it in small amounts every third day. A little goes a long way. The ordinary set also claims to brighten parts of the face that have discoloration due to hyperpigmentation, and that is another reason I wanted to try this with my daughter. I have not seen the brightening effects yet, but I will continue to use this product and update this review as needed. UPDATE: I STOPPED USING THIS. SO I'M NOT SURE IF IT BRIGHTENS THE SKIN IT JUST DRIED ME OUT TO BAD.
