Improved performance of my larger XR tools, highly recommended.
Buying the premium battery over a 3rd party was something I struggled with, but I did so hoping for longer life, and higher quality of product. Using this battery in my XR tools absolutely delivers more power from the tool over the smaller batteries. So far, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I might still consider 3rd party batteries for things like work lights, where I just need high capacity and maybe not so much on high performance or reliability.

Good price on a genuine Dewalt product
Cheaper than the big box stores. After trying lots of third-party copycat batteries that don't deliver the capacity advertised, I'm only using real Dewalt batteries from now on. You can tell the difference just in the weight of the batteries. The imitations weigh half as much and have half the advertised capacity.

Overall, this is a good product
Dewalt is always having any good product and I enjoy the new batteries. I did experience one issue. I was receiving electrical shocks while touching the battery in use.

After 2 years, I am happy
Its been perhaps 2 years. As a homeowner, I am pleased. They take charge and provide power as expected for each different type of device. The flashlight can last countless hours, especially when it's several minutes a night for dog walk in the pasture/ woods.Drills/drivers work greatRecip saw is as expected: GoodI tend to swap batteries before it's 'dead' as in discharged.

Powerful battery.
Powerful battery with a long runtime. A lot bigger and heavier than a 5 amp battery. Fits all my Dewalt tools. Amazon posting shows a XL designation but battery doesn’t show that. I scanned the code on the battery and it shows up as a XL battery. Waiting to hear back from Dewalt customer service. Who knows! 🤷🏻♂️
