I have a hand jar opener from Pampered Chef that I liked well enough, but when I saw this one I had to try it. It is seriously the best ever! Because it is mounted under an upper cabinet, I can use both hands on the jar or bottle, making turning it a breeze. I have never found a bottle or jar I couldn't open with it! Large top or tiny, it works. I bought one for our 90-year-old neighbor too, and she loves it!

This little gadget is amazing for any jars but really tough air tight jars are especially terrific. One easy turn of the jar to the left and like a miracle the jar top is open. I have some arthritis so I don’t want to strain my hand. This gadget is perfect. Holds tight under the kitchen cabinet, unseen, and easy to use. Also very inexpensive. Glad my friend recommended it. If you buy it, you’ll love it.

Easy to install and it works great! Even the tightest jars open in seconds!Be forewarned, however, that the sharp metal teeth on the device might scrape your jar lids a bit...I keep a metal file on hand in the kitchen to smooth out afterwards any small damage that the lid may endure. A small "price" to pay for the ability to open impossible jars!My only suggestion is that it would be cool if these came with a hinged safety shield that could snap into place when the device isn't being used. I have my jar opener installed under a pantry shelf, pretty out of the way, but if anyone accidentally ran their fingers near those sharp metal teeth...well, it's not something I like to think about!

This is the most useful gadgets I've bought in a long time. It's very easy to install underneath the cabinet I have not had trouble opening anything.
