Q: What is the minimun and maximun temperature?

The Room Alert 4ER, and other Room Alert monitors in the product lineup, can read temperatures and operate in the range from -40F to 185F (-40C to 85C). It can operate in non-condensing humidity levels from 5% to 85% RH. It can detect temperature changes with a resolution of 0.03125C and an overall accuracy of +/-2C.

Q: does this come with power or how is it powered

Room Alert 4ER ships with a 5V 1A power adapter that works on 110/220V AC. If shipped within the USA or Canada, it includes a standard US plug. If shipped internationally, it includes a multi-plug with different plug types included for different parts of the world. With products in 186 countries, we're very familiar with the power requirements throughout the world and provide power adapters appropriate for use with Room Alert. If you prefer Power over Ethernet (PoE), our Room Alert 32S, Room Alert 32E, Room Alert 12E and Room Alert 3E models all support PoE in addition to standard AC power adapters.
