Definitely helps with grip and gives a little more life to the latex.

I think this product works very well and seems to work well even if you don't follow the involved instructions regarding cleaning your gloves after each use and before re-applying. I would have given the product 5 stars if the amount supplied wouldn't keep shrinking as the price stays the same. My most recent purchase (I have ordered 3 so far) is about 1/2 the size of my first purchase.

This product is nice to keep your gloves grip for a long time. Always used to pour water on them and stuff to try to get good grip, but this is far superior.

I can attest to this stuff being the Balm 😆 (pun intended). My son uses it religiously and I can assure you it is not Vaseline or petroleum jelly. I've spent a fortune on many products to help with grip and this is the only one that helps to extend the life of the latex as well as help with grip. Superior to glove glu or the T1TAN spray and any home remedies. It works in all weather conditions as well. The heat, rain, snow and anything else you encounter. The grip is always there. If you don't want to try it no one can make you but you should give it a shot if you want a great product for grip.

My high school soccer keeper daughter says this is the best balm for her gloves! We tried the spray on sticky glue & that seems to make a mess. This says clean in her bag & goes on easy. The other keeper & her share it because they both love it so much!

Helps to keep working areas of palms and fingers conditioned nicely.

I was skeptical, but this worked well on a newer pair of cheap gloves. It also added some life to some of my older gloves. It returned the grip to normal and lasted the entire game. You will need to reapply it before each game, but it works great.

I use this product on my daughter's goalkeeper gloves it always did a good job. I started out with the original one it was white from the outside now it's black and didn't even last halfway throughIt's falling apart . I will buy another one but if it does the same thing I will not buy again.

I have been using Glove Glu on my Son’s gloves and whilst it certainly added grip, it also did not last as long as I would have anticipated…. Which if you think about it makes sense as the spray is on TOP of the gloves and does not get absorbed…. Thought I would give this a try and see how it works and have to say I think it works a treat - if used correctly!Firstly remember what it does - it CONDITIONS the latex which means it keeps it soft and allows the natural properties of the latex to do their job! I have tried it on 6 pairs of gloves from very cheap to very expensive and it has CONDITIONED the palms on all, however it works a lot better on the better quality latex that is able to absorb the wax than the cheaper gloves where it stays on top!After trial and error I have finally settled on a routine that works…. Wash the gloves, let dry, add Keeper Balm then store…. This gives the gloves time to absorb the conditioner and makes the grip last longer! The only thing my Son does is add a little water on match day to ‘activate’ the balm and it then word brilliantly!My Son (and myself) love the product and highly recommend it to keep your latex well conditioned 👍EDIT after 6wks of use…Product is doing what it is meant to do - keeps gloves nice and soft (which enhances grip), however this also means your gloves will be more prone to rip/degrade…. HOWEVER I would rather get the proper use out of my gloves than let them dry out & be useless!!!! My Son would probably get through 2 pairs of match day gloves a season (playing for 3 teams and using training specific gloves seperately) and I MIGHT have to get him an extra pair but I definitely think it is STILL worth it as the gloves are performing at a much higher level & that is the point!!!!

I recently came across an old (~4yo) stick of keeper balm that still had just a bit left in it. I thought I'd give it a go on an old pair of Uhlsports (~3yo). One light application of keeper balm and they were back to their "as new" grip and I was stunned. They had almost no grip (I used them as training/warm up gloves) and they were instantly returned to a match ready state, so I used them in my next match and they didn't let me down. I had completely forgotten the effectiveness of keeper balm, safe to say I immediately bought another stick and now I have 3 pairs of gloves that are all basically brand new in terms of grip. I highly recommend.

Son has been using this and has no complaints so far.

Most impressed with the product. A year-long used pair of gloves without much grip came back to full use after following the directions and applying Keeper Balm. Also used on a new pair and played under heavy rain conditions, with great performance. Highly recommend this product, essential part of a goalkeeper’s kit.

Great for goalkeeping gloves, bit of trial and error using it. I wet the gloves a little then apply it.They become quite tacky after a wee while. Giving good grip in a game and seem to clean easier too after the game.Wish there was more in the stick though.
