Scary looking
The media could not be loaded. The clown is scary looking. His head and arms moves. He says a few different phrases. His eyes light up. His body is flat. He has some kind of foam in his arms and legs but it doesn't fill him out. His hat will not stay up and it is torn on the back. His shoes are thin plastic on top and looks like paper felt material on the bottom. He has threads hanging on him. He has motion and sound activation. He also has a wired button that you can use if you want to manually activate him. On the first day his motion activation worked great. Just waving your hand in front of him a few inches away would activated him. Unfortunately a couple of days later when I tried it for my video for the review it had quit working. Sounds and the button still work but not motion. I got in touch with the customers service to see if they could tell me how to fix it. The company has excellent customer service. I explained my problem. Customer service asked me to try different things to see if it would resolve the problem. Then apologized for the defected item and ordered a replacement for me. I would definitely order from this company again feeling secure that they stand behind their products. Even with the problems I like this clown. I think he should do a great job scaring our trick or treaters Halloween.

Best halloween purchase on Amazon!
The media could not be loaded. This animatronic is purely awesome! Great price too for what you get! It comes in a small box and wont take up much room when you need to store it. It comes packed in bubble wrap and is protected well.Do yourself a favor and grab a bunch of grocery bags (I know you have a bunch crammed inside another grocery bag in your kitchen 🤣) and stuff the legs and arms with them. Doing so will make it look bigger and very realistic. I also used some Amazon parking paper (I have a ton of the stuff laying around) and used that to stuff the body. I also used the bubble wrap from the packaging to help stuff him. There are slots in the fabric to aid in the stuffing of this guy.He is voice activated so when the little ones yell "trick or treat" he will go off. Yes, I tested it lol. Do not pass this awesome halloween decoration up!

Highly recommend this very scary clown!
Just get this clown - there is so much to love about him! He just needs a little TLC. His imperfections are easy to fix, and the trick-or-treaters were thrilled with him! A bunch of kids asked for photos with him. You can probably tell that Halloween is my favorite holiday, lol.Pros:He's easy to assemble. The motion detector works really well! And if he's near you, you can covertly bump him to set him off when kids aren't expecting it.He looks and sounds scary! My favorite is "Hey, you look familiar...maybe that's because I've been hiding under your bed!"You can pose his arms. His eyes glow. His control panel for the batteries and power button are easily accessible. It's easy to stuff him (see "Cons").Cons (not worth removing a star, though):He's really skinny and doesn't have any shape to him. We stuffed him with packing paper and bubble wrap to fill him out. His costume has several openings, so stuffing his legs, torso, and arms is easy.He has less hair than in the product photo. It's stringy and barely there. We bought a scary clown wig and glued it to his head. We tried Velcro first, but that didn't hold. Fabric glue did the trick. He was a little unsteady on his feet, so we tied him to some bricks to hold him up. We'll make a pedestal for him next year so he'll be even taller.

This was a hit and is awesome!!!
The media could not be loaded. For the price - you get a lot! I stuffed the Pants and Shirt with plastic bags to give him some bulk as it looked a little frail being so skinny. Simply enough, the tubes go into the plastic actuator box near his neck and they can connect to the plastic stand. Outside, I slide the tube into a PVC pipe that drove into the ground under my tree. I was obviously skeptical if this would last being left outside, but I can say I had this up for almost two months and he was showered with my irrigation system 2-3x a week. The motion activation is meh, sound based I assume versus motion. I had to physically turn him off the days the sprinklers were on as he would just go off for an hour as he got sprayed. You can't see him that well at night, so but I use outdoor holiday spot lights set to red that provides a creepy ambiance as you can see in the video.Other than Halloween - I have used this to scare the crap out of my wife by setting it up in the closet and the bathroom on different occasions. She in turn took it to work and scared her co-worker. He also is an excellent carpool companion for those HOV lane days!I am allowed one purchase a year like this - and I will be adding a friend to him this Halloween!

Price Reflects Quality
This is one of the cheaper animatronics. The quality is equivalent with the price. The clowns outfit is made with an incredibly thin material. It might last one or two seasons, depending on weather. On the plus side, it was very easy to put together and was very light to move around. Will need to weigh it down so that the wind does not blow it over (on the porch).
