This 3-piece extension is great for directing the wash stream in those far away, or tight spaces. You'll need strong shoulders and back though since the wand is a bit awkward and heavy in use.Nine feet is pretty long and each piece is about 3 feet long. It's a bit of a chore to assemble the 3 pieces since they are heavy and must be aligned properly to screw them into place.Once assembled, it is a reasonably rigid pole. It has considerable weight so holding it to reach up high gets a tiring after only a few minutes. I can't fault the product for this. I can't see the wand being any lighter and still remain strong so I think the manufacturer made the right choices.If you are trying to get up high for cleaning eaves and gutters and such on a regular basis, this is an excellent tool to add to your collection.If you are only going to use this for occasional use, you might want to consider if just using your light (shorter) wand and a ladder could be a reasonable and less expensive alternative.

I got this 9 feet Briggs & Stratton pressure washer extension wand for my husband to pressure wash our two story house. He used to use a ladder but even with the ladder he had a hard time reaching all the way to the top. On top of that he always gets drenched when pressure washing the house so it was hazardous to climb up and down a ladder. He used this extension wand this year instead of the ladder and it worked great. He said it does take a lot of arm strength to hold it and control it but he likes it much more than having to lug the ladder around. This extension wand fit our Titan 3000 pressure washer and performed as expected.

Whew! It is a workout, as others have mentioned, but if you know that going in, you sort of mentally brace yourself for the muscle strain. I'm in my 40's, around 115 pounds, and I was able to use this is short sessions. I attached it to my Sun Joe pressure washer, which I also purchased here. (You have to take off the wand the comes with the Sun Joe to screw this on.)It has the handy-dandy quick-connect tip, so that you can still use the quick-connect spray tips that come with the Sun Joe.I cleaned the soffit and eaves on a split-entry home and washed away an old wasp nest from under an awning.I figure I saved a lot of money by not paying someone else to pressure-wash the house.I'm happy with the performance and it looks like a well-made product, but I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the difficulty in maneuvering it.

I was trying to power wash the top (roof) of my pool cage. Even on a ladder I couldn’t reach the middle section of the cage roof. I bought this to help reach the center. This product comes in three 3’ sections. I only used two sections and I also purchased a curved gutter cleaner attachment. This combination has worked wonderfully. The pressure of the spray when using the curved attachment actually causes the 6’ wand to basically hover about 4” over the screen. It would have been very difficult to hold all three sections w/o the curved gutter attachment. I like that you can use one, two or all 3 sections. I would purchase this product again and would recommend it to a friend.

Keeping track of and swapping tips.So wash your car and switch from soap (low pressure and wide) to wash (high pressure and maybe jet) with a quick hand action and nothing else.No losing tips! No swapping tips!You might get more finesse with the separate tips - but I haven't found need for anything other than this.Perfect.

I have an angled nozzle that can be fit on this but with it in place, wand is impossible to control--the thrust created by the nozzle when tilted at an angle propels the tip in the opposite direction and there is no stopping it from the other end, nine feet away...
