excellent, high quality, highly effective to stop pulling
This collar is very high quality with a lot of great features. It's very easy to put on and remove. It fastens and adjusts to fit similar to a regular collar, so you don't have to slip it over your dog's head and it doesn't slouch down when walking. We'd rescued a 3 yr old dog who had limited exposure to the outside world and was not leash trained. After after several weeks of daily training and trying multiple types of harnesses, (diligently adjusting each), he had made no progress. Once we tried this collar, he stopped pulling immediately (within 1 block) and within 2 days was consistently walking with slack in the leash and effectively noticing my queues for when to stop, turn, cross the street, etc. The added benefit is now that we've finally gotten past leash training, he's progressing more quickly through other training and is on to living his best life.

Great training collar
Walking my dog was quite an experience with her choking herself during the entire walk. Since I got this its like walking a new dog! No more pulling. Plus teaching her to sit when I stop walking and go when I start was made so much easier. I would definitely recommend it.

Great Correction device
Great correctional device. High quality item which doesn't hurt the dogs. Very helpful for high energy dogs going on a walk. They learn very quickly not to pull hard or lunge at vehicles or other items of interest.

Easy to use and works!
This product ended up working great for my dog. It also is a clip on which is a nice feature. There are others ones out there that you just slide over the dogs head and those always make me nervous. The clip on method seems safer.

Happy we purchased this
This collar appeared to be expensive and I was hesitant to purchase. It has literally made walking my dog go from a chore to a treat. My dog would practically rip my shoulder out of place on our walks. She is a completely different dog when we use this collar. We only use it for walks, never for a long time. We introduced to collar with treats and ever since she doesn’t get upset when we put it on her. She listens very well and hardly pulls. We have had a few instances when she’s forgotten she has the collar on and pulled at another dog, but this is a training tool. It was made well with the exception that one of the guards on the clips comes off. Easy to take on and off and offers a locking feature.

Instant improvement for my German Shepherd
I have a six year old 85 pound working line German shepherd. We used to live backed up to an 1800 acre park with about 40 miles of trails. Early on I trained all the basics. Sit, down, stay, come, drop on recall and stay close when we were in the woods. Heal was never really a thing. I never used a leash. Well we moved and don’t live on a park anymore. He needs a lot of exercise every day which we do with a frisbee or tennis ball. I do however like to walk. Walking him was a nightmare. It wasn’t his fault I never trained him to walk on a leash. The problem is he is a high drive 85 pound dog and he about rips my arm out of the socket every time we walk. He gets left home as a result and his quality of life suffers. I had the option to use the ecollar he is accustomed to but decided to try this collar as I wanted it to be self correcting rather then me having to properly time every correction. Well it worked like a champ. I put it on him. Tried to make him relax at the door. Opened the door and led him out and before we got down the stairs the lead went taught. It wasn’t the full on yank I usually get. He sat. He looked at me and then we carried on. I don’t need him behind me or not sniffing and being a dog. The walks are for his enrichment and I let him sniff and explore. All I care is I’m not dragged down the street. With some slight corrections, a heal and some training treats for reinforcement for healing and sitting when we stop it was transformative. Out first walk was three miles and there was no drama. The other day before I decided to buy the collar I made it 100 yards before I brought him home in frustration and walked alone. The other interesting benefit is his whole demeanor was so much calmer. He is not a dog that can be intimidated. When you struggle with him on the leash it only escalates the situation and makes him pull harder. He wasn’t cowed or upset. Just calm. Anyhow, I know a lot of people look at these and think they are pretty scary. They are a tool. The dog will self correct most likely and once he gets it his life will be improved. I had the same experience with the ecollar. He got less then five small corrections when we first got it and then got five years of off leash freedom in a beautiful park. Used properly and with positive reinforcement it worked perfectly and a well trained dog is a happy dog that is welcome wherever he goes. His life is better for it for sure.

Works to stop pulling
I tried a few fancy harnesses. They didn't work. The Gentle Leader worked some but my dog hated it. I didn't want to use a large prong collar & a friend in our training class recommended this. This is for a smaller dog, she has a standard poodle & I have a Golden. So she suggested I also purchase extra prongs. This collar is well made. I read reviews about the cover for the clasp that slides off. Mind did but it's fine without it. Regular prong collars don't have a clasp & are quite difficult to put on & take off. This works easily. It's also not as visible. I put it on my hand & it doesn't hurt at all & my beautifulpup doesnt looke like Bruno. My dog immediately stopped pulling. On occasion she still will, but I don't have to worry about her pulling me over or pulling away. She's 4 now & I wish I had this from the beginning. Recently she passed her 2nd therapy dog test walking perfectly through a mall with only her regular collar & leash! I still will use it though as a cautionary measure. This collar is expensive but worth it. Those who've had strong pullers, even pulling small dogs, will so appreciate its effectiveness. It should last years.
