I really do enjoy these scanners. My family operates a few mail and shipping stores in Arizona - we put these through the ringer - and they do work. I replace them yearly because we burn out the trigger mechanism.Unfortunately, this last batch of two were very used prior to being sold to me. They are covered in scratches, tape, labels, a few dings, they were not reset back to factory.

The NADAMOO Wireless Barcode Scanner does as it says, plug it in and get an HID device on USB, that acts as a keyboard for input, so selecting an input field or file to collect scans is all that is needed. The barcode scanner works well over distance, I've only tested in side of the house over a distance of about 30 feet (10 m), but it was not with line-of-site and there were intervening walls, but the scan completed.One important note, the barcode scanner does require a wake-up scan to make sure it is awake and ready to start scanning, so if the scanner has been idle, it will need this before taking a scan.The barcode scanner documentation includes scan codes to configure the barcode scanner, which is a bonus, if specific options are required or certain settings needed.The base for the scanner includes holes to hang the unit, but the cable only allows routing through one side, the top.I like this barcode scanner and have bought another one since I need two in different places for different purposes.For my needs the ability to store scanned barcodes for later operations is not a requirement, so this unit works well and the price is very good for a wireless 1D and 2D capable reader that also handles off of screen scans.

used only 2 months and stop working now. not technical support. worst product so far bought on amazon.

I have tried many scanners under $100, and this one was the only one that could read Dell Data Matrix QR.It quickly works out of everything you throw at it, but Dell serial numbers were the most important selling point for me. Besides that, It's robustly built, has a great battery life, and has a great distance and several unique handy features. You can pair multiple scanners to one base or multiple bases to one scanner.If you have many things to scan, a couple of these scanners can save you a lot of time.The closest competitor with similar functionality is Zabra scanners, which are an industry standard and cost accordingly (4 to 5 times more than this scanner)

I purchased the scanner for a proprietary software we use. I contacted tech support with the barcodes we use and they were able to program our scanner easily. I received a concise series of codes to scan and we were good to go.Two weeks into the purchase. All is great. Tech support was quick. Value is incredible.

Works great when it works, but something is wrong because I come in after the unit has been charging all night, and the charging indicator reads like it's full, but once off the charger cradle it will not power up. Put it back on the cradle and it's red like it's charging. Something is not right.

Scanner works great for 1D and 2D barcodes, simple and easy to get started with and can input like a keyboard into most applications like Excel or notepadFast reliable scanning even on very small 2D barcodes like the service tags on a laptop which are printed inverse white on black or grey on black.

I use this scan gun for my retail store. The cordless aspect is awesome (we've had corded before) and my team keeps it on the charger to keep it out of the way when not in use. The range of the scanner is roughly 30 feet (unobstructed, for bluetooth). The battery life appears to be pretty good, but we haven't had to test that yet. It's pretty easy to set up; however, the instructions are a little on the slim side. After a few attempts, I got it set up though. It is light and responds quickly when activated (there is a sleep feature).
