how often do you have to add water //how long is cord?

I'm not sure how often to add water, we haven't set ours up quite yet. The cord is 4'6"-- 4' of useable cord, an extra 6" behind the fountain.

Is thereEnough space behind the fountain to put an outlet so you don’t see the cord

No. The fountain lies flat against the wall. I ran conduit up to it and painted it to match the wall.

Can it sit on a counter top against a wall rather than hanging it?

I wouldn’t. It does splash enough to probably make a mess. It’s heavy when full of water. You have to consider the bulk of the power cord if you tuck it behind. I think of it as an outdoor fountain.
