Works great on my old acne prone skin
I'm 54 and I think I'll die with acne. It's ridiculous! I still get pimples at 54. But, this acne wash is incredible! I have tried everything. I'm a no fuss person. I'm not the type who wants to use 85 different washes, creams and serums. I look younger for my age too, good genetics luckily. Exfoliating is key. I use this wash, dermaplane and retin A. My skin is perfect!!! Easy, and I don't even need foundation. My pores are clear, skin cleared up nicely. No oiliness. Love it. The scent is tolerable. Tea tree. It smells like tea tree. Not my all time favorite but it's OK. It lathers nicely. It's a keeper for sure. I was using Cera Ve before along with Paula's Choice, the dark gray, almost black Exfoliating toner. For a while my skin was perfect but then my skin just started breaking out. This cleanser is expensive, but you only need a nickel size or maybe a dime. It goes a long way. It's nice. It will last a long time, it's a big bottle. Worth it for sure. I use it twice per day and moisturize daily with a light moisturizer.

Nice, gentle cleanser
I tend to have dry sensitive skin and many products dry out and/or irritate my skin. This one does not. It's a nice gentle cleanser and it leaves my skin soft and hydrated. It has a slight minty scent and an almost menthol feel when you first apply it but it is very faint and doesn't burn in any way. My skin feels fresh and clean after use. As always with Dermologica products, I wish the price were lower.

Great for use everyday!
I have used variations of this product since the 2000s. I love this brand. I have tried other equivalent brands but always come back to Dermalogics. This product cleans my skin well (I have fair/sensitive skin) and does not cause redness.

Highly recommended.
I have been using Dermatologica for a month and I can say that I am satisfied with the effect on oily male skin. The fragrance is pleasant and the effect is even better. I recommend it.

Calms down acne and removes stubborn sebum but
I initially ordered the 1.7-ounce special cleansing gel to try it out before committing to the 8.4-ounce clearing skin wash. While the clearing skin wash is less stripping to the skin, I found that the special cleansing gel is more effective in removing stubborn sebum. Surprisingly, the clearing skin wash doesn’t produce as much foam as the special cleansing gel, which requires more effort to build a lather. On the other hand, the special cleansing gel foams effortlessly, which I wish it would do more of. However, the clearing skin wash also effectively removes sebum. To achieve this, you need to massage the product into your skin phase to initiate the removal process. Dermalogica products are renowned for their ability to remove impurities that even the most effective cheap cleansers struggle to achieve.

Amazing
I am 39 and still struggle with the occasional breakouts. All face wash seems to irritate my skin whenever I use it or dry my face out so makeup looks caked when I wear it. I tried glymed products which were awesome but for the price, I couldn't continue using it. I found dermalogica and it works amazing and pretty comparable to higher end brands. Now that my skin is starting to age, this is hands down the best product I have found that doesn't bankrupt me lol

Great Face Cleaning Product
I was very reluctant to purchase such an expensive face wash, but I figured I would try it. I honestly love this product. Your face feels so much cleaner and there is some kind of temporary layer that is left on after washing your face that gives you a glow. A very small amount of product goes very far. Like the more expensive shampoos and conditioners, the product is concentrated, so you do not need a lot unlike the cheaper alternates ($15 to $25 range). This makes the product last much longer, so you might be paying more for the bottle but it last 2 to 3 times longer than the cheaper stuff which makes the more expensive cost much more bearable.
