JANINA TOOTHPASTE ULTRAWHITE SENSITIVE 75ml [Health and Beauty]

Great toothpaste. Leaves fresh breath for a long time and teeth are more radiant (very natural effect, not typical american glowing in dark). The package was nicely secured and arrived week earlier than expected.

Only place to get this European toothpaste without paying more than the cost of an implant. A necessity for the brand loyal.

It's a bit of a first world problem, I know, but how do you get the right whiteness of teeth without eroding the enamel to the point that you're actually exposing the yellowy underneath bit? Well, I decided, as I can't be faffed doing all the gum shield bleaching nonsense, just to make sure that the tooth darkening staining never happens by applying some moderate good sense and using a fruit enzyme whitening toothpaste. Is this better than any other? I would say so, with the added advantage of it being much more gentle than many. I like the taste, it's just a standard minty flavour and I do rinse in the morning as I can't tackle a bowl of yoghurt with a minty mouth. However, at night I don't rinse so that it can work its magic. Try it.

I have tried just about every whitening toothpaste - including others by Janina, but I was amazed that the sensitive Janina actually whitened my teeth after a couple of days - not the sort of white you can get from laser whitening at the dentist, but definitely lighter than before and whiter than other toothpastes that I've tried. I noticed a big difference after a couple of days, although after using it for longer the effect seemed to wear off and my teeth didn't seem as white. I have sensitive teeth and it also reduced the sensitivity. Only thing I don't like is that it contains peroxide, sodium lauryl sulphate and parabens, and the fact that it's expensive (although cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else).

I have used this for a few months now after changing from Opalescence toothpaste which is excellent but only available on import from USA, I cant say that I have noticed an improvement but my teeth have definitely not got any worse, I use a Braun triumph electric toothbrush rather than a manual one, the taste is nice and minty but I did find that if I gave my teeth a really good clean (in excess of 4 minutes) that particular teeth were really sensitive to cold and heat the day after and this was extreme pain which subsided after a few days after I started to use some Sensodyne to cure it. I think its an alternative if Opalescence is too expensive but I wont be using it as my regular toothpaste.

Took a photo of my teeth before I started using but after three tubes of the stuff noticed absolutely NO difference to the colour of my teeth. The tooth paste is fine tastes good, cleans well etc.. but I bought to make my teeth whiter and this it did not do and can't afford to keep paying 6/7 times the cost of the usual stuff. Also I followed the instructions of use perfectly but have now returned to the usual toothpaste.

I bought this because it was recommended by India Knight (journalist for Sunday Times). Basically I don't want to keep making expensive trips to the hygienist NOR do I want to erode my tooth enamel by using normal abrasive 'whitening' toothpastes. This does the job very well indeed but I'd appreciate a drop in price even though one tube goes a long way.
