To keep my new boxing gloves from smelling and becoming a bacterial breeding ground, I've placed one 224 gram packet in each glove after use. After a couple of months, they still smell great, so I assume it is working.Soon I will have to recharge the silica bag by heating it for several hours in the oven at 220 degrees F to remove all of the moisture it has absorbed from the gloves. Hopefully this will allow it to continue to work well in the future.I also got free shipping on this product when I ordered, which was nice.

This is great price for a desiccant. This does not come with any instruction on how to renew it.All silica gel products can new renewed hundreds of times. Many come with an indicator that tells you when it should be regenerated in an oven. It's not a hard job, simply put the packets in an oven at about 200 degrees and leave it alone for 4-5 hours.For exact instructions look it up on the web.

No way of knowing they're still working . Open granuals change color- white to blue. I just oven bake 'em once a year. 120 deg for 8 hours

I put 2 of these in my 2 1/2 cu ft fireproof/waterproof safe and they work great!There is a temperature/humidity sensor in the safe so I can monitor. After first putting them in, the humidity went down to 11%. They have been in there for a month and a half and the humidity is 30%. I have opened the safe a few times during the month and a half.Not too shabby!

The sticker on the pack says 2 but it’s actually only 1. $20 for 1 pack. I hope it works cause this was so expensive.

Bought because I found moisture in documents in storage. Also purchased ShieldPro Humidity Indicator Card 10-Pack 10-60% 6 Dot (10 Cards. Placed indicator pak and desiccant with documents. Indicator showed a lot of moisture the first day and within several days moisture removed. Would recommend both to keep your documents safe.

Small. But good for small area such as cabinet would not buy again, I need for car storage and this is too small

It's a silica gel pack (actually pellets). Pretty typical. The cover appears to be a tyvek type material. Hope it's tough enough to stand up to the oven at 200 for recharges.
