They really made it easy for our young granddaughter to start playing easy card games like junior uno and old maids. These wooden card holders don't take up much room when they are put away and they are made out of quality wood. I actually enjoy using them myself. It might not be a great gift for card club, but grandma and grandpa would probably get a ton of use out of them because holding onto small items becomes more difficult the older we become.I know our granddaughter is able to put the cards into the holder and she is now able to play those games that the older kids play even though her motor skills are not quite ready to hold onto those cards.This would make a great gift. Purchase this and a deck of cards and let the games begin.

I had hand surgery and could not use my hand. This tray works perfect so that I can still play with our friends. Very well built.

The groove is just the right width to allow you to easily group together multiple cards, yet not so wide as to be an unstable holder. The felt bottom keeps it from sliding around.

This card stand is working great for me while I am recovering from shoulder surgery and only have use of one hand.
