This is a lovely spice mix that made my Ethiopian fish dish very tasty. I was told that the spice is very very hot, and I was concerned because I can't take extremely hot spice, but it actually was not that spicy.

Great flavour
Quite a different flavour, Ethiopian food not a regular in my household normally. Great as a rub for airfried chicken thighs. Will (have) bought more as the pot is a little small and gets used up quickly.

Caution! This spice mix really is spicy!
I was a bit dubious about purchasing a very ethnic spice mix from Amazon. But, living far away from any ethnic stores, I decided to take the chance. And I'm very glad that I did. This spice mix tasted freshly made and it was very spicy. Just what I like. In fact, as soon as I finish this review, I plan to purchase some more Berbere spice mix. Two containers, this time.

Use it in everything
An absolutely delicious flavour and kick of heat that goes well with pretty much anything. I sprinkle it on food, add it to casseroles and soups, and just generally make the most of it.
