DMV Ultra Hard Contact Lens Remover (White, 10 Pack)

I just found out I have keratoconus which causes my cornea to be very oddly shaped. No one could ever correct my vision in my left eye and no one knew why. Finally, I found an eye doctor who immediately knew what was going on. To correct this situation, I need a contact lens called a scleral or "big" lens. This is a hard, really big contact that covers the whole eye and part of the white of the eye. And BOY did it change my vision. I can see 20/15 now when before, I saw a blurry big E and that was it!The problem with these big lenses is that they're tricky to put in and take out. I briefly wore soft contacts and could just pinch them out of my eyes but that can't be done with this hard lens. The plunger is the only way I can remove the lens. It easy grasps onto my lens and allows me to remove it painlessly. It also holds onto the lens so it doesn't end up lost. These lenses are very, very expensive so I can't afford to lose the one I have.If you have soft contacts, this tool won't work well. These plungers are for hard contacts and they work like a charm. I like that these are each in their own little case. I carry one with me in my purse, another in my glove compartment, and one at home. They're simple but necessary for me to safely remove my lens. I got the three pack and the price was great. For me, these are absolute must haves. If you have hard contacts or scleral ones, these plungers will get the lenses out of your eyes fast, easily, and with no discomfort. They can be used to insert the lenses as well but I use a different tool for that.

I got one of these tools from my doctor when I had eyelid surgery and loved how easy it was to remove my gas permeable hard contact lenses without pulling on my eyelids, I bought these in case I lost that one and to keep one in my purse and one in my travel kit. They work great and come in their own little storage tube.

These little plungers are used to remove hard/gas permeable contact lenses. They couldn't be easier to use and get the contacts out in split seconds. My doctor claims that I have droopy eyelids from pulling the corner of my eye and blinking to get out my RGP lenses. This has solved the problem of pulling and making my droopy eyelids worse.However, they don't work on soft contact lenses. The plunger gets stuck on the lens and it is difficult to remove the lens and the plunger together. It's a little shocking, scary and funny to see that plunger sticking our of your eyeball.

Kinda pricey and who needs2

My eyes are shaped like a football. I tried the blink method to take hard contacts out as well as the finger method. I just can’t get them outta my eyes. I used to wear soft contacts with no issues except getting them in as my eye shape and can’t easily get them in. Anyone on these reviews that say the suction isn’t good enough, should try dipping them in a little solution made for hard contacts. I haven’t had to do this. But read that would help if needed. I keep one in multiple places such as my car nightstand and glasses case. My eye dr prefers to not use these. You don’t want to accidentally get one stuck to your eye. That’s their main reason. However with these style of contacts, if you can get them in than you shouldn’t have any issue with this. I recommend cleaning them just to keep your lenses clean of any possible debris. My only critic is to make the cases seal better. Some clicked in position and some didn’t. Overall it’s a wonderful tool. Hold your eye wide open with your fingers and just stare straight into it touches. You well feel the contact come right off or even hear it pop off your eye. Thank you so much. Without these, my sight would be horrible compared to my glasses.

Great for taking off hard contact lens when eyes are too dry. They are small so I have lost a few but the price is affordable so I just buy replacements. It took some time to get used to using it but it really does work.

The cases for these are very sturdy and the caps don't accidentally pop off. The suction cups are soft and perfect for my RGP lenses.

I wear Ortho-K lenses every night and I use this when I take them off each morning. It does what it says.
