I absolutely love these. They were great.This is my second set and the first ones lasted nearly 4 years in rainy conditions in Hawaii.It’s a good deal for a great product

Purchased June of 2020. Never touched them, forgot about them to be honest. 2 of 4 batteries were almost dead, maybe 30 mins of light-time. I don't know when the rechargeable AA batteries died, but I'm just now replacing them. All 4 units still working great (after I replaced batteries) after sitting in Virginia sun for years. I literally picked spider-nests out of most of them, just because they creep me out. Didn't affect the units.I purchased someone else's products and mixed a competitor's with these. Other units have substantial corrosion on a very similar SWITCH like these products have, but the competitors haven't failed yet. As the pictures will show, I can't see any aging on these, either inside or outside. These products look new to me after 4 years.Regular rechargeable batteries are NOT SUPPOSED to last for years. If anyone complains about AA batteries failing after a year, or some number of years, shame on them. This is a good product, but it is not designed to maintain an AA battery for an extended time.Do you want outside lights without ugly wiring? Its completely up to you, but solar lights are not a "set-it and forget-it" product. If you want these to operate for a long time, you need to replace or refresh the AA batteries maybe once a year. Maybe 2 years. There are quality batteries out there (eneloop), and chargers for $35 that will do something called cycling and refreshing a battery. I have 8 year old batteries that still charge more than 2000 MAH. Never had to dispose of a battery that I charge the correct way. I strongly suspect that if I charged a great battery, I could put it in these, and forget about them for at least 2 years. I get extreme winters and also extreme summers here in VA.No matter what, you need to expect what happens if you don't have a battery-plan of some sort. All solar lights will eventually fail, you will re-purchase units often, and it will be user-error.If you order a batch of these, and 1 doesn't work right, shrug it off and replace it or whatever. These are what you're looking for, even if 1 has an issue. If you are a survivalist - 4 of these still look new after 4 years. I work for the USG, and this is not endorsed. I wish more things that I forget about for 4 years (in the sun and elements) work like these do.

The lights make a great mood setting and provide just enough like for my walkway

These lights are beautiful. You do notice the sparkle. The color changing option is great...just wish you could sync all four to display the same color at the same time. Battery life is good. They stay lit most of the night. Love the option to change out the NiCad battery if needed.

Make my patio look sofisticated. I really love the different color changing.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The first set lasted longer that the second set I purchased. The second set barely lasted 3 months before they stopped working

I held off writing a review until I had really put these lights through the paces. They lasted through all seasons including Midwest winter very well.I know ithese are not terribly posh pics but it’s early spring. I want you to know these lights have been outside for over 1 year. They are still great!!!!! I have on tables hung on the fence and the shed. Absolutely Fabulous
