It’s good for coordination, imagination, learning colors, even interactive talking games like counting or building and imagination. These are literally “learning tools”.

My daughter absolutely loves this kinetic sand! It’s such a neat alternative to Play-Doh or real sand, which can get messy. This kinetic sand is super fun to play with and has a really satisfying texture. Best of all, it’s not messy at all—everything stays contained and easy to clean up. My daughter can spend hours creating with it, and I don’t have to worry about a huge mess afterward. Highly recommend for kids who love sensory play!

This kit comes with all you need to start your journey with kinetic sand! I started by just having my toddler use the sand alone and then added little toy bugs for her to find. And this was the perfect addition to help her fine motor skills. Each tool works differently and gives time for the child to explore shapes, textures, and my toddler was even talking about the colors of the tools! I attached pictures of all the tools. It also came with three packs of sand. I already had a small pack so I only added in one more pack for now to keep them all from combining and turning a gross color so soon. I recommend using two packs of sand for quality play. It's enough sand to play with all the tools. This was 100% worth the price. Sometimes you can find it less expensive on Michael's website. And if you're a teacher you get an additional 15% off there. If not, I still think it's fully worth this price. My 1.5 year old loves it!

The tools are great, will last a long time. Though I wish the sand smooshing tool stayed together when built, the bottom rounded side has a lid that easily pops off.The mat shown in the listing is just a piece of paper they put in the box it will not last for long term use.You get three colors of sand but not much of each color. Even with all three sand colors in the provided bag it doesn’t even fill the bag half way.If you want to fill a sensory bin you will need to purchase additional sand.unscented.

Bought this kit for my 2 year old who has recently become more interested in kinetic sand ASMR. Once I found this kit I knew it was perfect! Comes with 3 colors of sand; yellow, pink, and blue. Comes with several stamps and cutting tools. Also includes an instruction pamphlet with several sand ideas. My favorite part is the lid has a purple “cushion” that you kneed the sand on (see picture). You basically use the entire kit! It was a hit with my daughter! She had a blast stamping and cutting the sand like her videos. The sand does stick to some surfaces (hands, table place mat) but I found it was easy to wipe off with a baby wipe or paper towel. Comes off of hands easy too!
