Trijicon quality
This is my second one for a different rifle..loved the first so figured I'd get another but this time try the green...extremely well made as expected with this brand and price...I think I love the green so much more than the red it's just easier to see for me very bright...many settings for brightness..the quickdetatch mount seems very durable and the co witness is perfect with a fixed frontsight gas block on ar15.

If magnification of ANY sort bothers you, do NOT get this optic.
This optic is slightly magnified and may cause one to go cross eyed and see double sight pictures. With training and repetitions this will factor out, however not everyone may feel the same. Positioning the optic to the furthest slot forward above my BCG helped combat this issue, but still slightly noticeable. In my opinion,Nothing will beat the lack of parallax and quality sight picture of an EOTECH. They are outstanding and bomb proof(I own several), however they have a short battery life, tis why I ventured out into the red dot realm of 20k-50k hours of continuous use.I do not regret my purchase, just be mindful there are better quality red dots that will not give you the aforesaid issue. This is still a very solid optic and If you dont mind training through a slight magnification, get it and stop thinking so hard.

Bad review answer
This review is to address the complaint people have about the lens retaining device being cross threaded. With ALL red dot or reflex sights, the glass has to be angled to reflect the dot image back to the eye. Look up the formula for”angle of incident” and you will have the explanation. That device has a special nut, that is angled, to insure the proper reflection angle. My only explanation for their bad reviews, is they don’t completely understand what they are purchasing. Trijicon products are mil spec! Quality control is second to none! Even products made in Japan! I’d be willing to bet the sights they purchased worked perfectly. I own several red dots. And where the LED or light source is located, determines how the glass is angled. This design actually allows the sight to be serviced. Cheaper sights have the lens glued in(disposable)! The military and law enforcement trust the lives with these products, so do I.

Werks fer Me
Frankly, for the money this is not a visually impressive techno-gizmo, it's small with no obvious bells or whistles, let alone contemporary eye-candy, but it works. I have intermittant astigmatism and when it acting up, I notice the same blur that others haver noticed... in my case usually pausing a moment will let my eyes adjust. Otherwise, Trijicon Mro 2.0 MOA seems sturdy, consistantly accurate and stands up to 45/70 recoil with no issues -- am getting one for my 12ga as well...

This is a real green Trijicon MRO despite other reviews.
Many people have left reviews saying they think these green MROs are not genuine. They list many reasons most of which are totally bogus. Yes, the front element is not flat and appears to be cross threaded. That is the way these, and most all red dots, work. The LED is at the top corner of the tube and the front element has to reflect it to appear centered in the optic. I have compared this one to several red MROs I already had. It is exactly the same other than the color of the dot, the tint of the front glass coating being pale green instead of red, and the box now has a cheap looking red plastic latch instead of black like the older Trijicon boxes. I checked with several authorized dealer’s websites and the red latch is totally correct for the newer MROs. The price has gone up significantly in the few weeks since I purchased mine, but the item is definitely genuine and I felt someone needed to correct all the bad reviews based on incorrect information.

A “Status” optic, but it does the job
This is a nice looking, robust optic with a tremendous field of view and limited obstructions for shooting with both eyes open.It has a nice feature that gives you an option to turn off the optic between setting 2 and 3. If you have astigmatism, the green dot flares less in brighter light than in low light. If you are looking at this in low light take it to a brighter location to see if that makes a difference . Works great at the range but you may need to compensate for a home defense option (the dot would go from 2 MOA to 6ish). In brighter light, setting 3 is very fine and works great to zero in your rifle. While I’m sure this optic will take a beating, I can’t say it’s better than a $200 Holosun. In fact, it’s probably inferior in performance due to Holosun’s features (auto shut off, shake awake and solar). But its ability to take a beating, it’s ample field of view and the fact that it looks much better than any other red dot on the market, make it worth a try if you like to flex on people.

Get what you pay for
Bought this for a 223. Had a Sig Romeo on it, and it was accurate up to about 100 yards. Adjustments weren’t exactly fine enough to really dial it in. Swapped it with the Trijicon and it was crazy how it was the same but so different. Was able to dial it in to a few inches at 100 yards easy, very fine adjustments on the Trijicon. Pricey but was certainly able to see the difference when we pushed the limits. If I add a magnifier the Trijicon will certainly take it but I can’t imagine the Romeo being as precise.
