does it fit for X4, 2020 ?

Oh no the Black Shift knob I have is awesome Bd has never come off .It's a perfect fit for my BMW X3...

Does this slide on-top of the factory one?

fits perfectly over the factory one. It has glue pads to keep it in place so you don't slide it over, it sort of snaps over the top and then the pads glue keeps it in place. I have had only one problem, the little color strip started to peel off, a little dab of super glues put it back in place. I liked it and fits good.
