Works well. Pro tip. Insert the sleeve and the part you are putting in it and line it up where you want it before screwing the bracket into place.

Paired with a door repair kit to replace the pin on the bottom, this saved my folding closet door. The corner hole was so large, I couldn’t screw anything in. This was better and easier than cutting and screwing in a large piece of wood.

Perfect! I bought a couple options and this product was by far the best solution. Bottom corner of door was caving in and needed support. Metal angled support did the trick, especially with the bracing on the backside to add support. Highly recommend!

Congratulations. If you are here you must understand the mechanics of bi-fold doors. And you are about to save a couple of hundred dollars on a new door. Over a decade ago, I had a handyman who just switched the position of the doors when the bottom failed on one. Today thanks to online videos, the right tools, and female empowerment, at 50+, I'm doing repairs like this myself. It was an easy repair. The width of the door and the location of the existing hole weren't factors. These attach to the corners on the back of the door. Hopefully, this extends the life of the doors for more decades. None of the national hardware stores in the area had these in stock. Ordered them early yesterday morning and received them yesterday afternoon. Installed them last night. A great way to end international women's day.

I'm so happy with the results ,I really thought I was going to have to replace my closet door, which would have been a hassle. Luckily, that's not the case anymore. I would recommend.

This bracket seemed like just what I needed to repair my broken bi-fold door, but the holes didn’t happen to line up with the existing standard ones on my door (see photo). I ended up replacing it with the 163634 bracket, which is adjustable and using a toggle bolt to hold it in vs the small screw that was provided, which I expect should be a long lasting solution. As always, Amazon was great with the return process with this bracket.

Repaired two Bifold 6panel doors, $100..ea New...Compressed Cardboard Whatever Composite. Junk PIVOT pins on bottom wore away the mounting holes it's masonite...These Brkts...easily installed...Permanent Solid Supported base....The mfg..could of used Real wood just for bottom....NOPE in Buisness for Profit Not Friends

Just bought an old house and the folding door I couldn't fix it, too old too much damage. I bought these and it's just perfect. Fix that door under 30 minutes! Keep the door together and by the way it's working I know that it will last many years. Very good product!

Bought a condo and seller hid door rot and hole at bottom, used the kit worked ok but after install the realized L bracket isn’t true so pin was not straight fit a few adjustments and it seems ok yes it’s not visible from front Recommend

I used this to reinforce the bottom corner of the door where the pivot pin hole had been cracked, split, and weakened. Worked like a charm.

I liked that it makes bi- fold door stable after gluing the crack.
