Mahalo Ukuleles MR1YW Rainbow Series Soprano Ukulele

This ukulele came WAY out of tune. But it DOES TUNE! WORKS GREAT! I have had it for a few months and it just about holds its tune now for an extended period. At first it would lose it within seconds, then minutes, hours, etc. This is a REAL and functioning uke, ignore the bad reviews!!!!

the ukulele came in on time, and in perfect condition. of course, it comes horrendously out of tune, and won't stay in tune for long. the strings need to set in, as is the case with all stringed instruments when they have new strings. but this instrument is great!

So cute. Bought for my granddaughter who turned 6. She wants to learn to play. Smaller than expected. Shipping was fast. Excellent quality!

**Update** the gears on the tuning keys are failing, leading to an unplayable instrument. It'sreat little toy. Very playable for what it is. Extremely cheap & pretty durable so far. Becomes a little unplayable further up the neck. Past the 6th or 7th fret the string intonation and resonance become a little rough. For a toy its great. For an cheap ukulele to play simple songs below the 5th fret, its also great. For anything more advanced I would suggest a something else.

If your just starting like me it’s nice and will work if you already been playing awhile I’d say to pass

My daughter had some knowledge of playing and wanted to learn more. This was exactly what she was looking fo!

I've had one of these ukuleles since about 2008 and recently purchased one for my niece. We both love ours. I have nothing bad to say about them.

Fits perfect in little hands. Fun for our 4 year old and allows him to improve motor skills all while making music. This gets dropped & tossed and is holding up fine to his rough play.

I'd say... 3.5 out of 5 It's good enough for what you need! If you're a good ukulele player, you won't be searching Amazon for a yellow ukulele anyway.. This is great to start out, learn your chords, learn how to tune (because you'll need to, a lot), and see if you like playing a string instrument! It's also good for playing in a place that you would t want to ruin a good uke.. (Beach, lake, party etc). Have fun!

Very nice Ukulele, my first one in fact. Produces a very nice sound compared to another ukulele that my friend both for the same price. Pros: 1) Very nice design in my opinion and the colour yellow suits it pretty well 2) Very good strings (Aquila Super Nylgut) 3) Produces an amazing sound for the price 4) Nice fret board 5) Clean inside, no glue is visible 6) Good tuning Cons: 1) Mine did come chipped at the top but I did manage to fill it in with some colour and it doesn't really bother me. I don't have any complains. Still have the same ukulele that is chipped and had it for about 5 months now. Still produces a very nice sound to this day. I am very impressed!

Pour le prix, un petit uke sympa et joli, avec même un assez beau son. Héla, l'accordage ne tient pas, il faut le raccorder en permanence ce qui signe son coté amateur...

Prix bas, jolie couleur, etc. ma fille de 5ans l’adore !
