Came with a giant crack. I could fit coins into it. Pretty wild to get it with such huge separation between pieces before even using it. I'm guessing with a little use and water, this thing is falling apart

In addition to this cutting board, I have a really nice, well-known, highly-respected name brand cutting board that cost three times as much as this one did. I find myself reaching for this one nine times out of ten. For the price, this is an excellent cutting board in terms of quality, how well the knife glides across the surface, ease of use, and keeping my blades safe from damage. It looks very snappy, to boot. As some other reviewers mentioned, there's some quality control issues here. There are a couple small rough spots on the board and one area where the seam is slightly raised. This is in a corner of the board and does not interfere with my cutting, however. At this price point, and because of the location of the flaw, I'm not going to deduct any stars. Just be aware that I also experienced what some other reviewers did in the QC area. Also, after a couple of months of near-daily use, one of the feet on the bottom came off and is lost somewhere in my kitchen. The feet are basically little rubber stickers, so I expect that none of them will really last. I don't really wash the bottom of the board and avoid getting it wet when I'm washing the top/use area. Because of that, I'm a little disappointed that the foot came off so soon after purchase, but I'm not surprised that it came off. I'm very careful with it. I've maintained the board with a good-quality board oil and cream, and it stays looking and functioning great. EDIT: Two years almost to the day after purchasing this board, I reached for it and went to use it and there's a large crack in it where the pieces are starting to separate (see photo). I've meticulously cared for this board since the day I bought it, using both oil and longevity cream to maintain it. I avoid water where possible, and generally clean it with a damp soapy dishrag and a quick rinse. I've never allowed it to soak in any water and keep it dry, regularly wiping it while I use it for meal prep. I feel like this board should've lasted me longer than two years. I might buy another one to replace it; I might not. I haven't yet decided whether to stick with this brand or go with something else. I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 3. It's not a bad little board, overall, but given the quality control issues I previously mentioned and it splitting after two years of very careful maintenance/care, I no longer believe it has earned five stars. I'm also changing my review title from, "Great for the Price" to, "OK, for the Price."

Board spins from the center even with the rubber feet on the bottom, also the top of it shows knife cuts pretty prominently.

I threw out all of my plastic cutting boards, did my research, and invested in this great quality end-grain cutting board. It is so beautiful, especially after I reapply some mineral oil every couple of weeks. I was afraid to get it wet at first…I was afraid to make marks with my knife on it…I was afraid to cut meat on it. But all that worrying for nothing. Knives leave no marks on the end grain pieces, water doesn’t hurt it if you dry it right away and let it air dry thoroughly, and wood is naturally anti-microbial and is easily cleaned with hot water and soap. This board is the perfect size, perfect weight AND looks beautiful. AND I don’t have to worry about microplastics anymore. I could not be happier with my choice and I highly recommend!!
