Being a coffee lover, i bought the 500g pack of Dark Roast and Medium Roast for Rs.300 each. The coffee has 80% coffee bean and 20% chicory and i always like coffee with chicory as it adds a nice kick to the coffee. I personally feel a boost when i drink chicory based coffee especially when i get headaches. The packing was something new to me and i never saw this before in other product, so searched in the internet and found something interesting. The packing has a degassing valve which allows excess gases created due to roasting coffee bean to escape naturally instead of using nitrogen flushing which is used by many and can be found by the puffed packs. I thought this degassing valve might decrease the aroma of this coffee but to my surprise the aroma was intact and strong. Am a regular in making South Indian Filter coffee and have also uploaded a video of it in my YouTube channel, so making this coffee was a breeze. The coffee decoction was thick and strong. The coffee using this dark roast was great in my opinion. My wife prefers the medium roast. Overall an excellent coffee especially the Dark Roast when it comes to taste, aroma and packaging. Wish Seven Bean comes up with a 70% 30% blend as i like chicory a bit more.

Got this by randomly browsing Amazon. I have a Moka Pot and Brewed this through that. The flavour is quite good, only if you were to drink it as a Black coffee, So black coffee lovers who do not want to opt for a instant coffee mix, can try this out, it isnt too bitter, but the aroma of the coffee is quite soothing and instantly plesant. IF you like to add milk, then this wont be nice, as unlike south Indian Decoction filter coffee, this does not give that much color or coffee flavour with milk added on. This however has been my moms favourite, she drinks this as Black coffee with Dates. For the price it is quite nice and their packaging is awesome.

This is my favourite coffee brand. I only use other brands only when this one is not available. Simply perfect.

Appreciate the packaging, helps in retaining flavours and increases the shelf life of the product. But If you are someone who's into pure caffeine (robusta/ arabica,etc) and prefers strong coffee thenThis isn't for you. I personally didn't like the chicory flavour in the coffee. It's woody flavour overpowers the aroma of coffee which is a big no. Rest if you prefer chicory then go for this.

The packing has a one way degassing valve that allows coffee beans to slowly release carbon dioxide (CO2), and other volatile gases without coming into contact with the air outside. I use Moka pot over lowest flame to brew the coffee. The decoction comes out thick and strong with good Aroma. People drinking black coffee with medium to lighter roast should not be buying this. This coffee is not for you all. This is the coffee you drink with milk. It is not Dark roast. But medium Dark Roast with stronger taste with less acidity. Less acidity was the important part of this coffee. One issue I feel the taste is not consistent.

For this price, it is pretty good. The flavour is not excessively rich/intense, but keep in mind that you are paying just 460 for a kilo! If you want a deeper flavour please go for something more expensive like Blue Tokai or TGL or Koinonia roasters. I tried making coffee in both an espresso machine and a traditional filter. It turned out much better in the espresso machine. There was a personalized letter with my order, which was an interesting touch. My only issue is that the minimum order quantity is 1kg, ideally there should be a 250g pack for those who want to try.

I am based in London and I am a big coffee lover and love tyring all types from Nespresso, Lavazza etc and during my recent visit to India I bought this filter coffee after readign few reviews. Really felt special seeing the welcome letter when I opened the box. The coffee smells so good and fills the whole room with Aroma and I love the taste it gives and also taking every sip in this cold weather of London it connects me with my Motherland India. Thank You Seven Beans for connecting me with my roots. I promise this will not be my last order for sure.
