A Really Nice Chair
The chair comes in two boxes and arrived in pristine condition. It is easy to assemble and worked perfectly out of the box. I was looking for a comfortable chair for my wife while taking into account she is small and weighs less than 135 lbs. It fits her perfectly and is one of the most comfortable chairs I've sat in. For larger/heavier people, I would suggest the two motor version to ensure satisfaction over the long haul. I will probably order another one of the single motor for myself.

Assembly needs 2 people if you're petite
It's easy to assemble. Pat, if you're a elderly woman like me, you would need some help unpacking and taking the bottom part, especially out of the box. It's pretty heavy heavy. I did do it all on my own although it was quite a struggle. Once I got al parts together where I wanted the chair to be it was easy to put together. It comes with a manual that explains very clearly how to do it. The chair is very sturdy and comfortable. I love the massage and heat features. Even though I am not an invalid, the lift feature is also useful. Since my feet don't touch the ground when I sit in the chair, the lift feature helps me stand up. I also like how the footrest moves and how it reclines. I chose the the Admiral blue one and it really looks nice in my den. Having the phone cable plug right in the chair is also very convenient.

Good chair and great price...
I bought this for my 90yrs old father. He is getting too old to walk and mostly sleep at home. So, I bought this chair for mainly 2 purpose while having a comfortable chair to sit in. 1. Help him lift his body out of the chair. He is 90years old and does not exercise, so he is gaining quite a bit in the mid-section and getting harder and harder to get up. 2. Massage his thigh... Since he is refusing to do general exercise, this will help his blood circulate (I hope). What is good about the chair: 1. Very easy to assemble. There are 4 pieces (2 sides, 1 back and 1 seat) that are slide in together. I am a novice and it took less than 5 minutes to do that. The sliding of the back took a little more time in order to align correctly. There there is 2 small "floor-frame-stablizer/extender) that you need to screw in order to help the chair for not moving; those are not too bad either; 2 screws per piece; and you do not need a tool for them. Finally, the connection of the "power" (one for the recliner; and one for the massage/heat) took another 5-7 minutes. I finish the whole thing (not the unpacking:) in about 20 minutes. 2. It felt comfortable and "sturdy" enough (I see some comments about break down in 6 months; so I am going to wait for the final verdict on that one :D) Other comments: 1. The massaging is "light" but adequate for my mother. We are Asians and my mother have a light body. My dad is "heavier"; so I am not entirely sure. 2. There are 2 set of white/red wires connectors in the back; the instruction brooklet didn't specify to connect them; but they are to be connected if you want the massage for the seat (butt and leg area). It should be pretty obvious. 3. My father is about 5'2"; supposedly the right size for this chair. But his legs would need to be dangle off the ground if he is to sit comfortably "in" with his lower back being supported. I think this is the one thing I would complain for now. Not sure how to fix it at this point; wish there is a shower room to really try out the chair.

This is a petite chair! Not for a large or tall person!
My mother is 84. She is 4'10" tall. I thought ordering a lift chair was going to be easy...not! I had no idea that you fit the chair to the person. That is until I dug a little deeper. Due to mobility issues, Mom needed a new recliner, a lift chair. I was so overwhelmed trying to order the right height, width, heat, massage, lift, color, material, delivery time, assembly, and even cup holders! Who knew! When I ran across this site, it ticked all the boxes. I had a couple of other people check it out. Then the real test. Mom had to approve. She picked a color she liked. We ordered it and when it came, assembly time...ugh!!! After a few missteps, we followed the directions and it was literally a snap! The sides slide and snap in, the back snaps in. Assemble the cords, plug it in and relax: with heat and massage! I will admit, I tried it out first and only when I was convinced that it was right for Mom, did I let her give it a go. She loves it! It is very comfortable and the remotes make it easy to adjust, turn on and off. The back is high enough to support the head and the foot rest is sturdy. It reclines far enough back to lay almost flat and the lift helps her stand up slow and steady. It has cup holders and side pockets and the fabric seems pretty durable and it looks nice. There are assembly instructions included and also disassembly instructions if needed. She had had it for a few months now, and she is still loving it; one of the best purchases we have made!

Satisfied
The chair can in two boxes - the base and the sides and back. It was very easy to assemble and plug in the wiring connector between the sections - good instructions and manual. We ordered because a member of our family had surgery and was having trouble getting comfortable in bed and traditional chairs. The MCombo Power Lift Recliner we bought has a massage and heat function as well as reclining and power lift. I think the value to function ratio is very high for this chair. We are pleased with our purchase, and I am a consumer that takes value for price seriously. As anyone knows who researches power recliners they can range in price from $300 to over $2,500. I think this recliner is a great value for the price.

Good product, great customer service.
This is our 2nd chair. We had (caused!) a problem with the arm of the first chair; a replacement arm was sent instantly. The service was so good that we bought the second. Good directions, easy to assemble. Works great!

Buy if you want endless static shocks
Prefacing my stating that I live in Southern California, a desert region where humidity is rare, this will be important later. Oh, and I have a pacemaker, which I guess is a sin. On 08/11/24, I purchased the Small recliner chair in the color Grey and it was delivered on 08/15/24. My family and I put the chair together immediately. Everything was fine until 08/17/24, when I used the recliner and after some time I stood up and felt full of static. I touched my daughter's arm and shocked her by accident but assumed it was just me. I went about my day and later that night I again sat down on my recliner. After about an hour, I used the remote to straighten up the recliner and get off the chair. Once standing I reached over for the remote to put it in the side pocket, and the remote shocked me. It wasn't extremely painful but after that neither of the remotes worked, meaning that the recliner was stuck in neutral sitting position. I contacted the seller, MCombo, on this matter, and advised them of the situation. Specifically, I let them know that I disconnected the recliner from the electrical outlet, both my daughter and I had sat on the recliner afterwards, and even with the recliner disconnected it filled us with static. I mentioned in my emails to MCombo that it might be the fabric of the recliner causing the static. Customer service quickly responded and let me know they’d ship a new recliner out and that I could dispose of the old one, even providing me with a tracking number within the same email. They claimed this was the first time they ever heard of a problem with static. I warned them that I did think the fabric was the problem, but regardless I was happy that they responded so fast because I have mobility problems and had already gotten rid of my previous power lift chair. I received the new recliner on 08/22/24, put it together and used it for a few days… until I again noticed that I was filled with static and got shocks every single time I touched anything in my home after getting off the recliner. After reaching out to MCombo on 08/27/24, I was truly disheartened and disappointed by their response as it lacked accountability. First of all, I voiced my concerns that they were marketing this item for elderly people. I myself have a pacemaker, which MCombo tried to blame for the static shocks even though I told them my daughter also experienced shocks and the shocks happened even when the chair was without a power source. But surely I will not be the first or last person who buys this power lift recliner who has a pacemaker, and it is worrisome that they are still putting people at risk by not correcting this manufacturing error or advising clients of the risks. Second, I let MCombo know that the only way I or my daughter felt no shocks at all was if we touched the floor completely barefoot after getting off the recliner. Realistically elderly people won’t always be barefoot due to mobility and balance problems, so that is no help at all. Some further research online confirmed that microfiber and other fabrics tend to be filled with static when in dry climates if not grounded. Possibly all the previous buyers have lived in humid areas and not hot deserts. Finally, I asked about my options because the recliner IS an amazing product and up until that point MCombo’s customer service had been great. I was more than willing to work with them to ensure that we ended the transaction on a good note, given that I’d already invested money, time, and energy into this. I do know that MCombo has the same or similar recliner in other fabrics, so I asked if there was a possibility of an exchange instead of a return. MCombo told me that the only option was for me to pack everything up and return it. Again, this is a product advertised for the elderly. It IS quite a heavy chair, so packing it up is quite a feat which is easier said than done and feels a bit like I’m bearing the brunt of everything. I lost some days’ worth of contact with MCombo in the last weeks due to being sick, so I’m barely now reconsidering my options because my daughter is no longer home to help me do the heavy lifting involved in packing for a return. All in all, I’m disappointed by trying to use my health problems as an escape goat when I even offered to send them video proof of my healthy daughter experiencing shocks. I’m upset that their listing does not reflect any changes or warnings of static. And I am concerned for future customers who will be buying this product and whose health might be affected because MCombo refuses to acknowledge their product is the problem. But if MCombo won’t warn others, then I will.
