I had prostate issues for several years. I wish I knew about this product when my problem started or anytime before my emergency surgery. Instead doctors were more than eager to prescribe drugs with horrible side effects and no relief. I didn't know of anyone with similar problems to confide in, or maybe nobody wanted to say anything about it. I just figured I'd have to deal with it. Well I'm saying it for you now. You don't want to go through my ordeal. How about having to pee often and extremely urgently, incomplete emptying of the bladder which caused several infections and eventually the closing of my urinary tract. Emergency surgery because I could not urinate which cost me $2000 even though I have good insurance. How about having a catheter inserted into your penis for two weeks. Waking up in agony each time us men have one of our five or six erections we have each night. How about urine bags that leak or sleeping in a chair because you can't lie down. How about giving yourself a catheter once a week to make sure your tract stays open. And did I mention that sex was lousy during the whole time I had my prostate issues? I highly recommend this product which I will take for the rest of my life. It's very effective and very affordable too. If you see any difference when you urinate or feel any pressure in the rectal area, there's your warning. If you have any symptoms, do something about it. It might not be such a bad idea either to add this product to your daily diet when you reach the age of forty. I didn't know, now you do.I feel great now and peeing has never been so enjoyable lol. I was skeptical about trying the Zhou Nutrition Saw Palmetto capsules, but I was tired from getting up from three to five times a night for a nocturnal bathroom visit. When the capsules came I was happy to see that they suggested one capsule per day, which meant the bottle of capsules would last better than 3 months. For the price, that was a no-brainer. Still, if they didn't help, it would still be $$ down the drain. I started taking the Zhoe Nutrition Saw Palmetto capsules and from the first night was pleasantly surprised to only awaken twice for a 'bathroom visit'. It was too early to tell, and we had visitors staying with us, so I was 'out of whack' and decided to hold my judgement until the visit was over. Our friends stayed two weeks ( they were from Europe) so now it is a week after they've gone and I've been taking the capsules for 3 weeks. I am very happy to say that although I still get up at night to urinate, my bathroom visits are never more than twice. That is substantial compared to my year of 3 to 5 visits per night! I am feeling more rested in the morning and have already ordered several more bottles of this great supplement. I was offered a free bottle of Saw Palmetto capsules for doing this review ( I bought the first at retail) but my wife already ordered and paid for a second bottle, so the free one will be my third! So you can see that I ordered the product twice even without the incentive, and I'm glad I did.

Prostate, prostate, prostate, which is different than probate, but no less inconvenient. Is Saw Palmetto the answer to all prostate and hairloss problems? Probably not all, but it does seem to help. This supplement does seem to help reduce the dribble when urinating which is a good thing. Is it a miracle cure? No, it's not. Is it a magic hair tonic? No, it's not. The help seems incremental at best, but it is helpful and better than nothing. There are a number of Saw Palmetto supplements out there. Is it "Made in the USA"? The bottle says so, but the website says "Proudly Made in the USA with Global Ingredients" So yes, it is possible that the ingredients have come from a foreign country and then were assembled into the supplement here in the US. If you're really concerned where the ingredients come from, find a supplement that states its source is form the US and is independently tested.

Works just as good (for me) as Doctor's Best Comprehensive Prostate Formula. But is much cheaper. I tried Doctor's Best first (which I found to contain the most comprehensive list of compounds, at good quantities, good price, etc.) Purpose: to find product that would enable me to sleep through the night without having to wake up to urinate. Once I found Doctors best to work well for me, I then tried the pure Saw Palmetto Capsules being reviewed here. Saw Palmetto is the ingredient most recommended, and used universally in all of the many brands of prostate formula compounds. I found that it works just as well as the Doctors Best Comprehensive Formula-- but, that's just me. I'm sure some will get better results from Doctors Best or other formulations. It is probably true that there are great differences among us, and what works for one person may not work for another. My nightly wake-ups were only once per night, sometimes twice -- and sometimes I slept through the night without waking up. Some men complain of waking up multiple times per night, every night. So, it may be that pure saw palmetto is not enough to help in those cases. I would recommend trying the multiple compound formulas first ( an all-out blitz) to see if there is some combination that can help. Then, try formulas that focus on one or two or three compounds, to see if those are just as effective. Or, maybe try Saw Palmetto first. And if that doesn't work, try other compounds or formulas.
