Great for Middle School Track
These are just like the ones the schools use for track meets. I bought these to practice hand-off for the 4x4 meter race and they are perfect. They are lightweight, the right length, and smooth.

Sticky Situation
I use this baton to practice handoffs with my 4x8 crew, and we found that once we finished our practice our hands were black because the paint rubbed off. I fixed this issue by soaking the baton in a container of warm water for an hour or so. Now my team and I consider it our lucky baton.
