Gibson Gear PMMH-040 Electric Guitar Part

This set of tuners is one of the most stable in my opinion. I've been building and repairing guitars for 15 years now,and this gibson/kluson tuners are way more solid and firm than they look. They stand extreme bending withoutdroping tune. Despite the looks (some think they're plastic-y and ugly) they tune smoother and firmer than grovers,gotohs, schallers and most "upgrade" replacements.PMMH40 - Comes with bushings and are held solely by the screws in the back. They're vintage model, with theinscriptions "gibson" and "deluxe" in each tuner box being shallow and rounded.PMMH10 - Is the "modern" set, it comes with nuts and washers instead of bushings, and the inscriptions in thegearbox are deeper and look more modern. Both models use the same plastic buttons, tough.

These tuners are an EXACT match for the tuners on my 2004 Les Paul Classic.They're not perloid yellow, they're more the old style tulip green.Buy 'em while you still can!....I believe they've been discontinued.

They work great and look nice.
