Q: How to stop the Pigeons eating this? I have the hanging feeder but they still find a way to perch precariously nd eat the seeds. They mess everywhere2

I have a Bird Seeder Station in my Garden that ONLY the Finches, Tits and Robins can eat from. The Pigeons have NO CHANCE, whatsoever, of attempting to eat. The few Pigeons remain on the ground trying to pick up the bits and, after a while, give up altogether. I have VERY FEW Pigeons that visit my Garden, now, and the few that do eventually give up and fly off.

Q: the packaging of my product is different from what is shown on the webpage . Is that normal?

If you ordered the 12.75kg bag, these should be delivered in a green/black/clear branded Extra Select 12.75kg sealed plastic bag - as shown in the pictures on here - packaged inside an Amazon cardboard box. That is what I usually buy and have had delivered by Amazon five times over the past 2 years. Now this 12.75kg bag of Extra Select is being advertised as sold by Maltby's Stores, not directly by Amazon, and if you receive the Maltby's open weave white plastic sack you may have been sent the Maltby's 'standard' sunflower hearts which sell for £2 less than the Extra Select branded hearts. Contact the seller and complain. They should sell what is advertised. Bird food comes in all sorts of qualities.

Just received mine and emptied and weighed contents of 5 litre sunflower seeds in a tub, came up at 2.9 kg for anyone wanting to know, always difficult to know when sold in litres so does work out expensive, will buy in bag form next time,
