The media could not be loaded. When comparing price ranges vs quality this board meets in the middle. Very nice without spending $300, quality chess pieces, nice board and playable, I've mowed down 15-20 games this week and the board Is exciting to throw down upon.

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day. He loves it, as do our grandsons. The pieces are well-made, heavy, and beautifully crafted. The board is also pretty.

This chess board is even better than we expected. The board and pieces are a good size, and are nice and heavy. It looks cool on the coffee table in the living room, and if you aren't finished playing, it's easy to leave set up without worrying the pieces will get knocked over easily. Having a neat looking chess board and pieces has really made teaching my daughters how to play more fun for all of us. I highly recommend this board. It's a great deal for the price.

Purchased as a gift, set it up to see how looked and one side was missing the queen,( had 2 kings), we improvised instead of going through the headache of returning and re-purchasing

The quality of this chessboard is amazing. The pieces are nice and heavy and each piece is crafted with such detail. It is expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for. Unfortunately when I received my package it got super beat up and the casing they came in was styrofoam so it was a huge mess trying to extract all the pieces. That's one little caveat though; I am super happy with my set.

The piece arrived which was physically what I expected but it smelled HORRIBLE of mold! The smell got into my tablecloth and into the table itself! I tried washing the table down with alcohol multiple times to kill the mold smell to no avail. Now my whole house stinks of mildew even after the cleaning attempts and placing the set in a plastic bag outside. (This is literally how bad it is) This is absolutely disgusting, who would actually ship such disgusting filth to someone's home? Do yourselves a favor and stay far, FAR away!

Good purchase and seller: I've had this chess set for two months now. I've been playing with my daughters a couple of times per week. Pieces are heavy so they don't move on their own. There is felt underneath to protect the board. We've dropped the pieces a few times and they're still looking perfect. Given the heavy construction, I'm hoping that it will stay that way for a few years.

Really like the weight and boldness of this set. It is so attractive we are leaving it out on display whether playing the game or not. The craftsmanship is great.. makes you want to pick each piece up and just stare at the quality and detail.
