Okay first off, if you plan on using this in a video with sound, forget about it. This thing whines like a cat with its tail caught in a fan. However for the price and to get a couple of quick dolly shots, it gets the job done. Using it on a slippery surface was only satisfactory when traveling in a straight line. If you set it to curve on a slippery surface (i.e and glass tabletop) the unit looses traction and sends your camera peer off into directions that you weren't trying to film. But as I said earlier, for the price it's definitely worth it for quick easy to set up jobs.

Skips too much regardless of the surface and even with load or no load....its likebthe rubber doesn't grip or it's uneven. I stopped using it at all.

This camera dolly is everything they I need to create my video. Just perfect!!!
