I bought this as a gift for a little boy turning 7 years old. His parents had taken him to a rodeo and he loved it, so he begged them for a pair of boots and a hat like everyone else there was wearing. His mom got him the boots, so I got him the hat/bandana, along with a pair of silver plastic cap guns with Wild West holsters. He ignored the guns as soon as he saw the hat and bandana. I tried to get a picture of him wearing it, but he was moving too fast when he ran around showing his friends.The hat is a generic size for kids, but it fit him and that's all that matters. No sweatband like real cowboy hats, so that's a deduction in my rating, but it has a sewn band along the brim to seal the fibers, so that's good. It comes with a cotton bandana which can be used as a sweatband, but he was moving too fast for me to explain that to him. The hat is a stiff felt of unknown material, so not sure how it'll hold up in rain while he's out chasing outlaws, but I figure by the time the hat is done, it'll be time to upgrade anyway.He's extremely happy for now, and that's all I really cared about anyway.

My son had this Disney Toy Story Woody costume I bought directly from Disney store but the hat it came with was so small. I wonder whose head the made if for so I have been looking for similar hat for him to wear the costume until I saw this. This was everything I have been looking for. Thanks Amazon. He was crowned the best Halloween costume attire. And it was delivered very early before Halloween.

I have a 19 mth old granddaughter and wanted a cowgirl hat for her. The ad said felt hat which is what I wanted. It is not a soft felt hat like I have or see in western wear shops. I find it's too hard and was disappointed. It is fine as a one time use party prop but not for regular wear imo.

Materials of the hat and bandana were nice quality. Ran a little big for 4 yr old, but the 4 boys loved the hat and bandana!In fact, I am planning on ordering 3 more for them so each has one. Thx!
