These are great Use size charts . I went one size up .
Very please a wonderful value , warm , I am 5 11 238 pounds and a XXL was a perfect fit with little more room ( they didnt stock xxxl ) over a pair of sweat pants with my wallet and important stuff inside them . I could wear poly artic long underwear if I gain weight . They have zippered pant legs with a baffle plus gaiters , Plenty of pockets , and a tab with a grommet to put a slope tag in . Keys can go in your pocket . Myself I wear a neck chain with mine tucked in my sweater all waking hours anyways . You can't do better on price . Pant length is 32 and was good for me my pants are usually 31 . I can easily slip these over dress pants and just pop off my shoes at the office and take them off inside too on cold days . Very handy , nice affordable ..you cant beat the price I always wear 42 expandable waist pants at this weight . I sadly due to health issues have gone from 170 to 280 in the last several years back and forth .Been gaining now and it isnt even Turkey day yet sure wish they had XXXL in stock they make them . There nice to wear over clothes and just slip off inside even when I go into town to the library . I even use them in spring and fall when I ride my motorcycle but want to be in nice indoor light clothes when I arrive at my destination . Take care .

Good for the price
I ordered these to use for alpine skiing. The price was so low they are practically disposable.I wear 32x30 regular fit Levis. I ordered these in both large and medium. The medium was too small. The large had plenty of room even with jeans on underneath. The camo pattern is nice, I like the hunter orange accents and cargo pockets which close with velcro. They look great. There is a good amount of insulation, they are not just a shell. The legs zip open, there is a good snow cuff and the leg openings will fit over ski boots.I did read the reviews of ripping. The exterior material is soft and quiet. It does not seem durable, it is not like the expensive cordura ski pants I have. There is some more durable feeling material on the inside cuffs. I will not be surprised if I get a rip from a good fall, errant tree branch in a glade, etc. For hunting I would expect these to get torn up in a season. If they do rip while skiing I'll come back and add to my review.

Price is right - medium runs just a bit tight
If you are a 34" waist this might feel a bit tight (all the more reason to lose some weight). The material feels heavy duty and good quality (heavy pants overall). It has 4 pockets, 2 side and then 2 more below those with flaps. The flaps seem waterproof inside and out while the 2 sides are cloth on the inside. The catch is the right side pocket is normal but the direction of the left side pocket goes backward - as in it would be convenient if someone else was reaching into your left pocket - weird. I was surprised that my shockdoctor 875 knee pad fit under these. The bottoms have zippers which are great for fitting ski/snow boots. The waist buttons are not buttons, instead 2 metal clip/slot style plus velcro further in - maybe thats why it feels so tight, no leeway to adjust. These are super warm and run heavy, good price.

Awesome Snow Pants
I live in a hot climate so I don't have much experience in the snow but I did try several pants before going on my snow trip. Most of the pants i found were extremely bulky and tight around the hips. I found that these pants were not only roomy, they weren't as bulky and kept me very warm and dry. Very happy with my purchase.

Arrived with several defects.
In several places the stitching was not complete. The waistband was not stitched alll the way around, and a side seam was not complete.Very disappointing, as otherwise, they fit great and felt comfortable. But they had to be returned for the flaws.

Great for Winters in Iceland
I love these Arctix pants! They're holding up very well as I travel around Iceland this Jan -Feb. Despite intense winds, snow, etc. my legs are very warm! They do heat up a bit if you end up in a warmer space inside or 'working out' in them, but they do the job right when outdoors. I also have a much more expensive pair of North Face snow pants with me that are more for when I do intensive hikes and things, but I can honestly say these are just as comfortable for a typical day out in the snow.Only thing to note: The sizing was a little off, as everyone else is commenting about. I am normally a medium (according to the size chart posted for these snowpants), but the medium was definitely too long and wide for me. I ordered a small as a replacement and they're perfect. I wear mine with suspenders and find them to be a perfect fit.

Great for Skiing!
I bought these snow pants for a recent ski trip to Lake Tahoe. They were warm, had plenty of room to accommodate ski boots, and had plenty of pockets - some zippered and some with velcro flaps. They worked flawlessly and were extremely affordable. Highly recommended!

Sizing is confusing
It arrived early. I ordered large because people said a size bigger would be better but it was too large. My husband’s waist is 36” although he fits into a size 32 pants, go figure. So I sent it back for a size medium.

Good Quality, Leg Design Questionable.
Let me start by saying these are quality made, comfortable snow pants. The problem is a few design decisions that make what could be a superior snow pant into something that is barely adequate for purpose.First off, the legs are fairly short for a large size. They are only 32/33 inseam. While I might expect this in a medium size, I chose large to get a minimum 34+ inch leg and some waist room according to the size chart. The pants are short. So, if you are leggy, buy a different sort.Secondly ,the ankle design. This is where the poor design decision shows. I don't know anyone other than a rhino with 20+ inch ankles. Now, if this design was so the pant can go over a boot that might make sense but there is a zipper that adds more circumference so why is the bottom of the pant so wide? The inside elastic liner [well made, nice and wide] is also huge, thus, cold air blows up the leg of the pant. Some pants are made for the inner elastic to go inside the boot while the outer liner goes outside the boot. Tried that. Cold air blew up between the layers rendering the pant useless in the leg. So, now I have to tuck the pant inside the boots, use my boot laces to tighten the pant legs thus having snow in deeper areas occasionally sliding into my boots. There's no way to tighten the bottom of the snow pants with an added hem shoelace [like army snow pants] due to the zipper design.Another strange design choice. The leg pockets are lined to be waterproof. That's a super decision that delighted me. However, there's only a small smidge of velcro holding the pockets shut. Thus, if the wearer slipped in the snow or sitting, it would render the waterproofing, useless. What's sad is that the waist, crotch etc. design are brilliant and there are even "wear patches" in critical areas to make the pants last longer. The waist velcro allows the wearer to adjust the pant waist to whatever sweater/shirt for a snug fit. The inner quilting is comfortable although if you need to move from warm to cooler areas, sweating due to the polyester, can be a factor. So my suggestion to buyers is this. If you need a pair of snow pants for jumping in and out of a truck or just for use in the cold and not slogging in the snow, I can highly recommend these. If you are wearing them for winter sports or something where dealing with wet and deep snow and not just walking about are a factor for long periods of time, these are not your best bet.I've worn them in up to -12 and in the colder weather, the leg design becomes a problem. Since the weather hasn't been the usual -25 at that point, they could be rendered impractical.Other than that, they are excellent quality, should last a long time, look decent, easily washable and are very comfortable to move around in.Be aware of the details and these snow pants might be the right ones for your use. If you are wearing full length heavy skidoo boots, these tucked inside might be exactly what you need. For calf Sorrel style boots, not so great. They came promptly in the post.
